Its painted..... I properly wont be updating this thread anymore though as there doesn't seem to be enough interest to keep updating. So all updates will be in the RSOC resto section.

Thanks, just getting another flat and polish with the machine as my first attempt didnt turn out as great as i'd of liked..... I've been going over a panel a few times and the finish is looking even better. Ive binned the side moulding for an all black one as the XR3i one kept coming off.(pic in the link)

Thanks, it really needed releathering as the leather was tatty and let the rest of the car down. For the price of a standard trim i could of had it done differently so a red top and stitching was requested.

Yeah it does look good spoiler less, but its gotta have one.
Im looking for a standard Escort stereo if anyone has one going spare. With or without the keycode. But would prefer the keycode model tbh.

My friend painted it in a workshop of his friends, couple of dirt inclusions but beats paying £3000 for a full paint job. Just cost me materials and some cash for his time. Ive had to flatten and polish the paint myself.
the paintwork looks alot better this time round, nice smooth and shiny.
