my engine bay restore
while the engines out for rebuild i decided i want to freshen the bay up, and get rid of all the rust.
passenger side
im going to flush the old strut brace holes as i not going to put one back on.
drivers side

They all go just behind the header tank there. Got to get in with a die grinder/belt sander and remove all rotten metal, then plate/weld up as needed and grind back welds, light skim of filler, shape it and prime it then wet flat it so its ready to be painted with the rest of the bay.

To just repair and repaint the one side you should be looking at about Ł100 - 120 I think

Its a right ballache to do that Glenn....you dont realise how many holes there is till you've got a welder in your hand

im gunna smooth some of them, not all of them as bin said theres a lot of holes and thats a lot of time
