i bought this car a couple of months ago, it already had been modded but was lowish milage and tidy.
when i bought it the wheels had already been powder coated.
it had hell braided brake lines,5.1 fluid
full pro flow stainless exhaust
skunk 2 gear knob
fast road setup(adjustable rear arms, front camber bolts)

i then decided to mod my airbox

i bought myself some brembo calipers

only to find they wouldnt fit behind standard wheels
so i bought these and had them shot blasted

i then primed and painted them

bought some new evo wheel nuts and fitted them

some fresh pics of it

i was at santa pod this sunday helping on my mates trade stand and found some stickers i just had to buy
they were only a quid each

and ive bought my new discs today so trialed it up and made templates for my caliper brackets

Same wheeels as i am after for mine, I have had one for a month or so now and its had some money spent on it, its great for an everyday car with some go when i want it. The only trouble it compared to my old DC2 ITR its half the car imo.

but then my brembos wouldnt fit
lowering will be done soon
the obsession with jdm is because the japanese spec cars tend to have a better spec than uk cars
eg anti roll bars,carpet,etc

havnt been on here for a while so thought id best update this
Bought a piper exhaust for it.

Proper happy, it sounds nice and pulls really well.
And the tail pipes are more subtle than most, which is what I like
Bought a japspeed manifold second hand but cheap

Bought some lowering springs for it

but wasnt very happy with the ride height or handling so i bought some hsd coilovers
they are 16 point damping adjustable and fully height adjustable with pillow ball top mounts

and had them fitted

and had it fully set up( tracking, caster, camber, damping, spring height )
propper happy with them so far
and some pics of it clean and outside

Very nice! Here's some pics of mines. it has basic breathing mods and a remap on a Q+ making 236.9bhp .Dc sports manifold & cat back, tewiga induction (gruppe m rep), coilovers, brakes, Spoon Plated LSD, DC5 box, Paddle clutch, wheels etc etc. I've spent a fortune on it! I love it, best hot hatch I've owned by far! I bought it standard with just over 20k miles 3 years ago. It's now on 58k and not had any major problems with it. It gets driven hard.

As long as they are warmed up, kept serviced and get topped up with oil (they do use a bit) they don't seem to go wrong.

Amazing the difference when the cars lowered. I was going to say I didnt like the wheels at all, but since its been lowered, they look well. I had an Accord Type-R for a while, loved the way it revd, but just encouraged you to drive like twat everywhere

I've always ran mines on 0W30. Might use a little extra oil but i think it'll protect them better.
Did you notice a big difference witht the fast road setup?

The fast road set up was done when I bought it. So never driven one without. I just reset it after lowering. I'm always dubious about using mega thin oil, don't like the sound of a car using it. Sounds like there's something wrong with it.
Anyway hopefully get my manifold on today
