Default Do I rebuild???

I have a dilemma.....

I have a mk3 Escort Cabriolet with an RS Turbo mfi engine in. Built in 2007, did a few shows and enjoyed a year or two with her running. In May 2009 on the way to FITP I had an irritating mis-fire every so often and when I got back home I was determined to solve the problem.
During the month or two I was trying to get the mis-fire sorted I split with my long-term girlfriend. I left our home, moved into my mates and stuck the cabriolet (non-running by this time) in my mates yard at the rear of his garage.
Fastforward March 2011, sorted my life, managed to bag a cracker of a girl and thinking about sorting cabriolet out. By this time its been gathering alot of muck, gypsies have had a nosy round it so its missing a doorlock and a few bits are missing. Its looking very sorry for itself and its now resting in my garage in my new place.

Now question is do I rebuild it or reshell the engine?? The cost of sorting it could probably get me a genuine RS Turbo rolling shell. My cabriolet is quite rare im believed to have been told being a very late mk3 on a D-reg so it would be nice to keep it......

Here's a few pics....

Lol sorry to bore you all with the pics.... Im very proud of the build and due to my breakup with the ex I couldnt sort it. Alot of spare time and money went into the build with not alot of expense spared. If I reshelled then I would be undoing and throwing away all the work on this car. But on the other hand I would have the Real Mcoy and not a badged up cab......

Help!!! Opinions needed!!

And now....

(well a few months back. Its in my garage now)

Needs:
1. Still got misfire to sort. New distributor I narrowed it down to.
2. Rear end sorting. Gypsies broke in and started a customers car, stalled it and rolled it in the rear of mine resulting in a 10-15mph rear shunt. Bent bumper. bootlid and panel beating out.
3. Paintwork sorting (minor issue)
4. New wheels
5. Interior reworking
6. New boost hose dumpvalve and various other bits

My 2 penneth worth would be rebuild it , not many of these left and you obviously spent time and money on it before and it was a deep resto , so this time should be slightly easier and for me it also puts your life back onto track , as I see it not meaning to get to deep , you had it before with old girlfriend , you split and it lost out , nows your chance to put it back on the road and show that no matter what you have your old life back

If the rear end shunt isn't too bad I'd bring this one back. Doesn't sound like much to do and would be cheaper and less work than starting from scratch. Plus it looks great in the pics

Bit of an update:

Decided to rebuild. Removed rear bumper and wasnt a mark on the rear valance or anything. Slight damage to bootlid but thats nothing. Boost hose, dumpvalve and a few other things missing but its nothing major.

Time to clean up and rebuild.....

Pics soon.

Thanks. Its mainly money and enthusiasm at the minute. A few years back I was earning alot more than I do now. I bought it and built it up from bare shell in 17 weeks. Now I have Moved into a new house that needs abit of work. So amongst fitting radiators, hanging doors and gardening she will get sorted......

Is this the car that was at the end of the yard next to FST? I had a look at at a month or so back and thought it would still make a nice car with a little tlc!!
Mines the blue mk2 fiesta in FST at the moment, im guessing you've probably seen it if your friends with the guys there
