To upgrade your brakes I suggest you go for xr2 stuff

Goodridge braided lines
Mondeo servo
Xr2 aftermarket grooved discs
Xr2 calipers with carriers

That'll be all you need

Its getting sillly on here, advising him to use chemical weld?, potentially putting his life in danger, all because you don't agree with what he is doing with his car, (how is that funny) its no different than childish ganging up mentally...

I don't agree with his mods, but on the grand scale of things, its no big deal...its just a Fiesta....can't believe the amount of people losing sleep over this..

Some of us have probably spent more money on respraying parts on are beloved cars than he has on his whole car and mods...

Let him be...

To be fair, if he couldn't see that as piss-taking, and followed that advice, then he'd deserve the outcome. That would surely be natural selection in full effect

Default hi

just joined the forum and very nearly left again after reading through this thread lol! gotta say though, that if you binned the seats and used either standard or a clean set of 80 spec recaros, lose the sunstrip and run either pepperpots or steelies it would be half way there!

TBH I think the current look wheel wise is spot on! if you like the (sorta stupid) sunstrip why not try a nicer more subtle font and make it a little narrower, maybe even try writing something smart not "mk2 fezzy" just my 2 cents mate

Those wheels don't look too bad. Get a bit of back to black or similar on the body trim plastics though!

genuine question, are u colour blind?

cos surely theres no way on gods green earth (no colour pun intended) that u genuinely think red accents will ever go with the delightful shade of burgundy that adornes your vehicle?! the anodised purple valve caps further emphasise my point. its like stevie wonder and ray charles had a finger painting contest!!!!!

i think with the sunstrip gone, the seats gone, the exhaust gone, your crazy OCD with painting things red gone, and generally any input from yourself gone, this could be quite a tidy little daily

thats honestly as polite as i could be. at least i didnt swear

The fact you've got an ok looking mk2 fiesta that you're slowly ruining really fucks me off, as me and my bro want a tidy mk2 as a project, yet can't find a decent one.
You can't even spray calipers right! you've sprayed the pistons, dust covers and pads! You're a fucking twat, and that sunstrip proves it!
I like the wheels though?

First rule is never draw attention to drum brakes

This means painting them bright red

love the fact you can't even see the cute little disc behind the wheel when i saw the pic of the black drums i thought you had realised you aren't a complete pikey and developed some taste... then i scrolled down.

how much money have u wasted on this car? and how much do u genuinely think you're going to get back?

There's nothing wrong with drum brakes, but why the Fuck paint em red ? Paint em black and I can assure you it'll look better, along with calipers sprayed black instead of red

I agree with zetec-Sam, not many mk1 and mk2 fiesta shells in good nick out there, and thisis a tidy one don't get me wrong, but youve ruined it

I thought the drums looked ok in the first pic, and then you painted them red! Why would you want to show off the fact your car has pikey spec brakes? Paint them black you plum!

Default Why?

Why keep giving this idiot advice? He clearly isn't listening and is just ruining a decent Mk2 fiesta. Treat him like a child - ignore him and hopefully he'll just go away.

Should we all chip in and buy this car off this fuckwit? If we all donated £20 and got 20 people, then it could be passed on to a deserving person who would make a good job out of it!

come on man look at the pics above with the 15" wheels it is stunning
gets loads of looks for all the right reasons, so what if it says fezzy on the front its a detail that can be removed and the red brakes i like so what if no1 on here does, other people do that see the car every day, im sure everyone has got a mod to their car that some1 else doesnt like !!!

^^^^^^^^^^^ thats well said in my opinion
