Yes mate. RS Turbo breaks are a straight swap. You only need to use some random silver lettering they sell at Halfords to stick them on top of the original breaks and hey presto! Break conversion done.

as for the rs turbo brakes, go on xrtwo.com and ask on there, if not then keep looking around on ebay if someone has mk2 xr2 brakes or if there is one thats breaking for spares

or just sell it to mikeyrobbo for £300
LED strip has gone
And NOT selling for £300 are you mad, loosing over a grand in only a few months haha

thanks for your other advice though

+1

youd be better off cutting the old brakes off with a grinder and using some chemical metal to stick the new ones on, its a more rigid way of holding it on rather than nut + bolt which can come loose!
if your stuck on the whole break fluid situation, dont bother with it, use normal tap water, it will boil abit better so will alow the breaks to be abit softer on your feet yet still be effective let us know how it goes

yeah ignore carlos's comment about the brakes and read mine, my dads been working in the motor industry for 17.4 years and he does this trick all the times, even on some race cars he built! he even helped develop the brake systems on f1 cars

Do it mate, you wont regret it

no, use chemical metal,

when it dries it goes solid like a weld (hence the name chemcial metal), so basically the brakes will be welded on and never come loose

Unfortunately not mate no. PileofRust has it spot on. I upgraded my XR2i breaks to a Fiesta Pop set up this way and never had a problem. That was when i was 18.

right ill explain it for you

he had an xr2i, 100hp ball of pure power, so they need better brakes,

he took the ones off a fiesta pop plus (like yours), cut his old ones off with a grinder, got it all smooth, got a tub of chemical metal, mixed it up and blobbed it where the old brake mounts were, put the pop plus brakes on and let the chemical metal harden!

jobs a good'n

oh and if you want a power boost, take the air filter off, cut a hole in the bonnet and get a mate to squirt squirty cream down the carb and itll speed you up. Check the labels, it contains nitrous oxide

you only need the handbrake to stop the car, but you have to upgrade the handbrake cable to the same cable as what you get on a mountain bike. They have a solid gold core

they wont laugh, i havent said anything funny.
the only thing theyll laugh at is you when your bolts shear off and the brake calipers get ripped off, hence why i said chemical metal would be best for what you need. If your gonna do something, then do it properly

Nope not a chav

the exhasut isnt majorly bodged only a little bit of bodging to make it fit at the back

and the seats fit just perfect plenty of room in the front and masses of room in the back 3 people with ease every day, fully recline

I think what a lot of people mean is that they don't fit with the era of the car. It's an 80s hatch, with swoopy, more modern seats in it. They're too modern, and don't fit the look of the car.

And everyone else just means they look enormous and look too big compared to the size of the car.

Some period Recaro's would just look 100x better. BUT, you won't listen, because you never do. No one can get it into your head that a bodged on cherrybomb is the shittest exhaust ever created for example...
