Just a little update had some goodie's turn up today

If the weather is better tomorrow i will get some more pic's of what the engine look's like now as i have stripped the bottom end.And there is no sign of wear on the cylinder wall's 
the bottom end is in realy good shape..The out side of the block need's a lick of paint & the sump just to tidy it up but i dont know what colour to do them both in..
As i get more pic's done i will do some more uploading

Im not sure if you can re use them..
I think the main advantage is they take a load more boost that is what i got told!!!

The bottom end had all new bearing's, piston ring's,ARP conrod bolt's,complete bottom end gasket's inc crank seal oil pump seal,sump gasket,oil pump gasket,new escort water pump,drilled and tapet oil return & breather return..the one thing im realy pist off about is that im going to have to go the decomp plate route as i cant raise another Ł800. for upgraded piston's and rod's.. so now i cant run a lot of boost as planed

pmsl!! if i rebuilt an engine in my kitchen the miss's would knock my block off lol!! she must be a ford fenatic aswell!! good job your doing there it will all come together in the end and your only just up the road from me by the looks of it! im just outside norwich ill keep an eye on this one see the progress coming on

youll have good torque with a zetec though mate.
should be ok for about 12psi
hope youve cleaned that floor before the wife gets home.

i want it on the road bad and trying to find another Ł800 for piston's and rod's i just cant do it.i had a ruff count up and i think i have spent about Ł2200 on part's for the rebuild and there is still more to get
tomorrow im going to prep the block and see if the cambelt kit turn up

thats the troube with cvh turbo's they do like to go pop the zetec lump should be hell of a lot better and stronger engine
