SMALL UPDATE
I changed the standard rover turbo injectors for some yellow cosworth one's..
[/IMG]
Now all i need to do is fined a new home for the fuel filter then i can run the braided fuel line from the filter to the fuel rail then that will be one more job off the long list..
but my turbo has been put on hold at the mo as i have had a little bash in my partners car
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
And to top my week off i thought i would have a play with my little toy
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
I was playing out the back of mine and a small stone flicked up and went in the flywheel and smashed all the fine's off it
What's going to go wrong nexted as they alway's say it happen's in 3's...
I realy whant to finish my turbo but what ever im tuching lately seem's to fooken brake..
So when my luck get's better and the car is back i will def get back on with my S2 build

Just a small update
I got a lift down to the garage where my turbo is today just for an hour so i could do a few thing's...So to start this update off here's a pic of of my turbo in it's new home
[/IMG]
And this is her seeing daylight for the first time in age's
[/IMG]
And here is a pic of the inside at the mo(what a fooking mess)
[/IMG]
So once it was out of it's home and in some daylight i got to work sanding down the front and rear arch's and giveing it a few coats of red oxide so the metal dont go rusty again
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
The rear still need's a bit more sanding and then a little more red oxide but then it's ready for some under coat ...
But since i cant get on with that as i left the sand papper at home
I got on with takeing a few pic of the roof where the sunroof go's as it's not that bad
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
Apart from the passenger side in the front corner but i will get the wire brush out and some rust treatment then i can clean it all up ready for some red oxide and undercoat
[/IMG]
I the got on with trial fitting a differant alternator bracket witch has put the alternator in a better place Since that fit i will be takeing it back off tomorrow to sand and paint it and then that can go back on
[/IMG]
Arfter sorting that out i got on with marking up the heater blower cover where the srut brace catch's..Here's a pic with the strut brace on with out heater cover
[/IMG]
And here's the cover with the mark's where i need to cut out
[/IMG]
I will cut out where the line's are and then i will cut this bit of duct in half so the strut brace will fit into that and not catch on the heater box
[/IMG]
And i will use this black sealant to hold it in place
[/IMG]
And the last bit for tonight pic of door's nearly ready for sanding
[/IMG]
That's the lot of the update today hopefully i can get back on with some more at the weekend

WOO HOO to the wheels. But oh fucking hell that this is happening. I have been most impressed what you have done with that car. Considering what you used to do to your bikes when younger

would it be easy to paint as the metal look's realy bad and if i clean it up then i think it might need a skim of filler and i thought that might be a bad idea as the roof flex's or am i going a bit mad lol
