EXHAUST MANIFOLD NUMBER 3
Ive not updated for a while as the laptop i have got at the mo is shit
I have finely got a exhaust manifold that will work with my cosworth turbo
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
Now with the turbo over the gear box it's solved a few problem's
1 getting the down pipe on the turbo..
2 i now have room in front of the engine for the oil cooler..
3 turbo heat away from rad

Ive not heat wraped the manifold yet as i need to make a bracket up which will go from the manifold to the gear box to surport the weight.
that why the manifold isnt bolted on properly
Here's a pic with the inlet manifold on
[/IMG]
And here's a pic showing the room i have still to get the throttle body on
[/IMG]
The nexted job off my list was to sort out the back brake's so i got on with fitting the hand brake cable and braided brake line's..
but as you can see in pic the rear calipers will be comeing off at a later date to be painted again
[/IMG]
and here's a pic showing the rear brake line going through the fire wall and into the in side of the car ready to be hooked upto the brake adjuster valve
[/IMG]

Update number 2 as laptop cant cope with load's of pic's
I will get some pic's tomorrow of the rear brake line's going through the inside of the car to the brake adjuster..
So the next thing i got on with i fitting the bonnet pin's as i need these fitted so my car can get towed to my mate's for the paint
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
All i have left to do to the under side of the bonnet is to put some seal in the gap so there will be no sharp edge's and it will tidy it up..
[/IMG]
All i need to do to the pin's is lower them a bit so that the bonnet sit's flush..
So that's my update for now will update more tomorrow thank's for looking

id of put the callipers on opposite sides so the handbrake cable came from the bottom. it positions the bleed nipple in a better place you will have to unbolt the calliper to bleed them the way you have them

UPDATE 1 OF 3 AS LAPTOP IS TOO SLOW TO DO ALL AT ONCE
Rear brake's are all done just leave's putting carpet and seat's back in
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
Now the rear brake's are sorted i put the petrol tank back on the only thing left to do tomorrow is put the braided fuel line's on as long as mr postman drops them off along with a few other bit's and boob's..
[/IMG]
But the first thing i must do tomorrow is sort my fooking shed out as i cant find anything and as my sister keep's saying it look's like a bomb has gone off in it

UPDATE NUMBER 2
On with trail fitting the front cosworth 4 pot's
[/IMG]
Once fitted i was well happy with the fit..Apart from this prob
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
The caliper is a tad close to the wheel So i will have to find sum spacer's for wheel then that will sort that little problem out
As soon as i make my mind up on the colour im painting the caliper's i will clean all that gold off them and give them a fresh lick of paint..
And the disc's will need a good wire brushing to get the rust off them
Once that's all done that will be the brake's all sorted out

LAST UPDATE FOR TONIGHT
Since i couldnt do no more to the front brake's or running braided fuel line's to the front of the car i thought i would get on with tapping the hole's on the throttle body plate and trial fitting the intercooler..
Heer's a pic of the throttle body now on..And part of the intercooler pipe work.
[/IMG]
And heer's some pic's of the intercooler on..
[/IMG]
[/IMG]
When the reducer pipe turn up that will finish the intercooler pipe work off
The nexted thing to sort out is the water pipe's for the rad header tank & heater matrix oil cooler and find a home for the air filter & EDIS & map sensor..
There is still shit load's to do but slowly it's getting there..
That's all the update's for tonight
