ok ok a very very small update just for yous lot.

Picked up the modified sierra seat mounts which Chris (aRSe kindly modded for me) so will be putting them in the car at some point - I did actually start to sand these down last weekend so they are ready for some etch primer and a coat of black paint. Got half way through one runner and shoved them in the back of the ashtray gonna get some etch over the weekend and will continue with them.

Also, got some coming round the week after the 19th dec to take the EFI parts off the pinto engine in the bay. The same guy also wants the Type 9 as it has an alloy escort bellhousing which is perfect for him as its going in a mk2. He is going to give me a hand removing the engine and box so i can then start to get the bodywork sorted.

Once the engine is out i will set about removing the bumpers and the kit and will hopefully get Chris to stick the cage in.

Oh yeah - still need to wash it gonna have to do a panel at a time

well i got some work done this weekend - was spent sanding, priming and painting my modified sierra seat runners, but then i ran out of satin black and also daylight so had to leave the drivers saide runner half done, until next weekend.

Will get pics up soon

Here's my passenger side seat runners in primer - never really painted anything before so please be gentle

finally got some satin black on them

Then whilst they were drying i made a start on the drivers side runners - but i then ran out of satin black and also daylight so had to leave em at like that until next weekend when i get more time to finish them off

Next week, im hoping to pull the both bumpers off and also start stripping the front end down ready for engine removal.

Right time for another update. The seat runnerssti ain't do e as the weather has been crap so didn't want to be spraying in it.

But I did manage to get a few other bits done.

Below, front bumper, lights and grille out. Getting ready for engine removal

Front exhaust downpipe removed - it's a 4-2-1 manifold for a pinto engine fitted in a Sierra and will available for sale soon (most likely eBay)

The sills are in great nick, much better than my moonstone Cossie was.

Car will be White, most likely frozen White and aiming for 2012 completion

Never thought about the Cossie bottom end with pinto head,

Cheers I thought that too but needed confirmation.

I've got bigger front discs 2wd Cossie 4pots to go on. I'm glad about the rear already having the disc conversion as it saves me a job

Just need to wash it now as it will transform the car completely.

Also your 4i looks great in your sig got anymore pics

Good choice in wheels - be careful removing those side moulding (fishing wire) as you know they cost £250 per set for new ones and the ones on yours i would bet are genuine FMC.

What colour is the car going??

cant beet tsw oldskool,i love them

them rear disc's look to small for cossie's to me
they look like sap glxi rears or 2000E & them fronts could be just standard 2.0 sierra witch also is the same as rs turbo

*EDIT*
wana check if it lsd aswel cause the sierra's have open diffs.

I have a few. Maybe I'll make a thread later with some build pics. Its down right now getting a new turbo and intercooler. I have a lot of parts on the shelves waiting to go on, including an old set of 17" TSW EVO wheels, RS bumper, and cosworth grille.
