Them back seat's look like new one's you have done a good job on them

i have finished spaying the rocker cover and coil pack bracket fited the exhaust adapter plate and that's about it as the frigging cam belt kit still aint here
and the engine is still in the kitchen 
them back seat's of your's have caome up sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet that will tidy your boot up mate 
ive up dated my thread so you can see the colour on the rocker cover

been busy workin so no pics im afraid.
did 12 hrs on the car today .
got this week off work so should get some good work in.
had a meeting with my painter tonight.
prep work starts sunday
not sure if im paintin whole car yet,depends on cash
but car should be ready for santpod in april hopefully.
will try get some pics up this week

well been busy on the car this week as i had a week off work.
not got too many pics but heres where im at.
been polishing my not so shiny bits,and making them into shiny bits.
bought a machine polishing kit for my drill which consists of 3 stages of buffing wheels and compounds.
rubbed everything down with 2500 wet and dry paper,wet,then the 3 stages of buffing.
took about 2 days to do header tank,fuel filter cover,oil seperator and charge carrier.
real painful job but glad i did it.
painted more of engine bay,behind heater motor and fuse box etc,and fitted chrome bits,black rocker cover,rubber rocker cover gasket,chrome rocker cover bolts and washers,few braided lines,some blue ht leads etc.
no pics of bay yet cos its all covered in mask at the min,but im pleased with how its turning out so far.
one of my alloy wheels was flaking badly on the back inside of the rim,so rubbed all that down and resprayed that.
not lacquered it yet,but its come out well.
then started on boot.
it was all scratched and shitty under the boot carpets so i set about sorting it out.
found some rust patches that i cut out and welded new plates over.
didnt need to look too great as its all under the carpet,but cut all the shit out and put nice new metal in,then seamsealed ,zinc primed,then resprayed whole boot with 3 coats of black gloss stonechip.
great gear actually,no need to overpaint cos its gloss finish anyway,gives boot a nice protective coating and aids soundproofing slightly too
painted my parcel shelf cos that was faided
carboned the centre of my steering wheel to match gauge surround
prep work for respray starting midweek now,so hopefully soon ill have some more big updates soon.

All these little touch's will make this a very sweeeet S2 keep up the good work your's is looking a lot better than mine at the mo as i seem to be takeing 1 step forward and 5 step's back

didnt get chance to touch it today.
spent the day fitting a t34 to my mates rst.
but hopefully its being flated tomorrow,then i can get it unmasked and ready for a mot so i can drive it to the paint booth next weekend.

well i got mot tomorrow.
this car hasnt had a mot since the 90s lol
been working like mad getting it ready and i think im finally there.
4pm tomorrow,judgement day.
cars defo being painted this saturday so should get some new pics up veeeery soon peeps.

well im a happy man today
car sailed through the mot
and i got to drive it for the first time and it drives sweet
like a little go kart
weird cos im so used to driving a 4x4 and the rs is very low
rapid little thing though,bought a smile to my face lol
think im gonna turn the boost down though cos it was hitting 20psi+
gonna set it at about 15psi.
next is the respray on saturday
cant wait
