hey peeps...dropped off the block to Steve at Vulcan today...also prepped up some more parts for spraying
block when i started
crank out
note the under piston oil jets
the new flywheel against the 2L item
the oil jets for undercooling piston
and the new sump
tomo im going to primer up all the left over bits and put all the interior back in my car lol

cheers boys! ive primered up quite a few more bits and peices including
sump
rocker cover
dipstick pipe
various mounting plates
cam pulleys
etc etc
just gotta rub them down now and spray them in the colours i want them...sump will be getting some stone chip gaurd sprayed on first before spraying it the final colour just to help against scratches etc etc
Also got a number of other parts come through (HUGE thanx to Alex ZXH!!! ) which were:
various bolts throughout the engine
brand new 1.8 Escort oil pick up pipe
brand new under piston cooling jets and bolts
rocker cover gasket
cam seals
Bottom end gasket set
also got my 13row oil cooler stuff through (thanx to Lee @ Fusion!! )
in the next few days should be picking up some more bits and pieces of Alex
Also ordered something that will give me some SERIOUS advantages over your average ZT's

quick update peeps...
well just got in from the garage and sprayed up my sump...its been primed and stone chip guarded for the moment...when its dry ill be spraying it the same colour as the rest of the engine...hopefully it wont come off PMSL
also got my oil cooler...but there is a leak with the cooler itself so should be getting another one soon (thanx Lee @ fusion )
highly polished the other vernier pulley i have as well
also got various bolts etc from Alexzvh
and i saved the best till last....i finally seen the head thats been getting some treatment.....ill let the pics do the talking LOL

cheers peeps...unfortunately i wont be seeing it again for another 3 weeks or so as vulcan are going to flow test the head, possibly place the cams in the head and see what needs grinding away (or ill do it lol), lighten and balance the bottom end, sort the breather mods out and place a oil return in the block....then its time for a dummy build to make sure everything is ok and a quick CR check....then fast ford are coming to do a write up on the engine
waiting for a few bits to arrive now although i believe one item i should be picking up at a thrash in Brunters mid april cant wait

quick update...not alot happening to be honest...just some painting as everything else is still at Vulcan LOL
Stonechip guarded the sump
then sprayed in its proper colour that i want it
also sprayed few other bits
rocker cover
the paint is a metallic black so when the bonnet is open im praying the silver shines through LOL
as im sprayed for the first few times with a spray gun im practising on little bits first...so i lacqured the pulley and the sheild
quite pleased with the spraying skills so far! am still messing about with the gun settings trying to get them right for the different applications etc etc....but getting there slowly slowly

LOL @ dan....no mate not chosen yet...am waiting for dyno sessions to decide and see which suits me most....wonder if they will be big enough just cant decide between the stage 3 Cossie T3 or a standard T34.......decisions decisions
cheers for the comments everyone else...just washed the car and its fooking raining LOL...its parked up in the garage so i think i might go give it a polish to keep me busy...cant be spraying in there while the car is in there to PMSL

when do you think your engine will be ready? what chassis is it going into...sorry as normal i forget these things...memory like a fish LOL

mines going in my s2 after major work to the chasis want her strong long enough to carry on and on im aiming next year tbh mate
