ultimate sleeper im seriously considering it but by the looks of it my dad wants to sell the blue one (its only a mechanic car we use to do breakdowns etc etc in really) as he wants something a bit newer...the everyday drive is my turbo

headlight scoop was finished today...not bad i think considering im still getting used to the gun 
there are a few bits that i wanna check tomo and depending how they look in the sun i will either give it another layer of paint or leave it as it is

well i sorted the bonnet out and its back on the car now with some new parts...
also got a new catch, and bonnet cable...hopefully wont have anymore dramas like last time
same time i put a chain on the inside of the bonnet which clips onto the lifting eye of the engine just incase it happens again
put me arch gaurds back on to
my wheels bolts and locking nuts were looking a bit mank so i changed them
also polished up my sill panels and got a mint fuse box cover
car was looking like this for ford fair
changed my rear suspension to raise the back of the car slightly as it was too low and scraping everywhere...but im not too sure of the look now
shall i change the springs back and sort the arches or leave it as it is??

engine wise....im awaiting collection of my inlet manifold, exhaust manifold is ordered, turbo im waiting on, bottom end has been machined, and the head is finished with OUTSTANDING flow figures!!!!! HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE thank you to Steve at Vulcan Engineering!!!!! Engine is being dummy built to ensure everything is ok...then photgraphed for a magazine then im bringing it back to mine to be fully assembled
still looking for management and injectors though lol (its the only thing thats left apart from gearbox and intercooler!)

looks good mate, love it. dont worry, mine wont be lookin exactly like that, i havent got the wing vent or the modded front bumper lol. weird question but what did u use to fix your rear opening window brackets in with? the two that go into the B pillar on each side of the car

yea, i have. ive got the screws that hold the hinge lever handle brackets on to the c pillar but just havent got anything to hold the other 2 brackets on each window, plus in my B pillar, its just a big hole, no threading in the bodywork if ya get what i mean

yep just get 2 self tapping screws mate...either drill new holes or use the ones already there....u will also have to cut into the c pillar trims but the slits are already there on the b pillar trim

yea, i was doin that last night. u wouldnt believe it but i actually use a real sharp pair of scissors and just cut it real slowly with the pressure, and it did it fine. bit nerve racking lol. cant wait to get them all fitted up and in tho. check my resto thread just below yours at moment

its a standard rebuilt 9k ago cvh. has a piper cam and now in the new shell has been converted to efi with cossie management, group A coil, cossie motorsport leads etc. the turbo is a stage 2 hybrid. has a pace radiator and gona be gettin a grs intercooler for it. cant wait to get it finished and back on the road. thats y i dont mind wen we have crap weather sometimes recently, coz i know if it was gorgeous summer weather i'd be gutted that it wont be done for another couple months lol

Cheers for the comments peeps!! Once i have enough funds to finish off the engine and can crack on with the car over the summer...it will hopefully just get better and better with an ever growing spec list
Gary, u know u wanna keep it mate! what about selling it and buying an Esc Cos? Or if you feel like doing something different...why not mod the car in a different way like my S2?

Hey peeps, not updated this for AGES now so thought i would give it a quick update...
basically im in no better situation than the last update...not much has been done...the bottom end has been bored out, crank and rods have been lightened and balanced, bottom end is just awaiting the breather and oil return mods...
have also ordered the clutch so that can be balanced to....fookin cost £390!!!!
in all honesty, im feeling VERY disheartened and had LENGHTY conversations about stopping and calling it a day i know most of the parts that are going on the car are custom, but they are taking FOREVER to arrive...not only that, but the costs are mounting up and are HUGE...i have spent a fair amount of money and have nothing in my possession to say what i spent it on at the moment, all i have on me is a water pump, gaskets, head bolts, standard zetec manifolds and thats it PMSL
apparently Fast Ford are coming on friday to picture the engine which i guess can only be a positive thing...
just dont know what to do
