That filter is huge! Did it fit in ok? Does it sound any different to the original k&n one?

The filter is fairly large and is a very snug fit - sounds slightly louder which isnt a bad thing

The pollen filter is actually behind the dashboard between the drivers side and passenger side but access is only available through the passenger side footwell - is a pain in the arse but got there.

Lots of pennies need spending so I can get it track ready

Filter needed the removal of the induction kit lower pipe and passenger headlight

The glovebox was purely for the pollen filter - whoever designed its location wants flogging

Yeah, I meant for the pollen filter. Not that bad that I think you need to go through the glove box for the air filter lol

Great to see one of these modded on here(and with taste to)!
Regarding the dyno print out was gonna post this link
http://www.pumaracing.co.uk/POWER3.htm
which sorta states you should of been given a realistic 317bhp printout but didn't wanna sound like a troll after all your hard work..hope that 400bhp target gets smashed!
P.S. to change the polen filter in my dad's mk4 astra had to remove the glovebox completely (as per service manual) so serious flogging needed all round the auto industry LOL

Booking it in for fresh RR when new clutch goes in so will see exactly what it has got

Quick one for you Robbie. Are you fitting an extra boost gauge? I'm guessing with the MOD X map the standard guage is of sod all use now. Race + and the boost gauge is in the red so not much use or reading over 1.2 bar.

I might look at getting a nice gauge and AFR gauge and see if they do an a pillar pod for them. Guessing that would be cheaper than an RS pod?

Silverstone is a good track to start with tbh

Wouldnt use a pillar pod personally as feel it hinders visibility in some corners - aftermarket gauges will be best thought but in the original pod

Fair enough matey - think it would be great to get some Defi's in the original mount or the likes - modified but OEM style

Have you changed the front mesh in front of the cooler? If so where did you get it mate?

Think the more I saw the graphics the more they would grow on me. Not completely sure on the blue in it.

The car looks great, and just when I think nothing else can be done out comes another rabbit out of the hat . I'm not too keen on the body graphics though. Best of luck with her.

The front grill is actually a custom one made of 2 grills - it is cracked where the join is unfortunately so original grill is on while I work on this.

I want to get the ST to stand out and the graphics seem to do this great so will be very happy

The graphics will change slightly but should be similar

I got it free off a mate and he says he would never do one again

There was a lad on STOC who could get them made for Ł170 - he had one for sale recently

Lot of money for a grill especially if it cracks as well

Seeing it on the car I have warmed alot more to it.

In fact I really like the stripes as its very rare to see. This is only the 3rd I have seen and they do look good imo.

A proper nice ST all round! Kudos fella
