Well I'v started putting the supra diff in to my focos and apart from one small problem it's all starting to fit very well

And this is the small problem . When you put a supra diff in using the MK fitting kit you get a spacer witch is about 20mm that fits to the diff and the prop to the spacer well as this car is a one off and I'v had to make every thing fit I had the prop shaft made 35mm longer so the plan is to put a standard prop on the car and make a spacer to fit . So my mate Rex is going to get the steel tomorrow for me . I'm not going to mob the prop at the mo as I would proffer to save the Ł at the mo as I'm going to have a new prop made for the car over the winter

Hi Ian

Can you confirm if there is any pressure or not in the return line from the attesa pump to the fluid reservoir?

Thanks

Well the clock is now ticking as in the week I book up with my mates to do a track day on the 10th of October and with working away I'm up against it now to get the car running again . So When I got home tonight my mate Rex had been and picked up the last of my powder coating and some metal so I could make a spacer for the prop I'v had to put a stander prop on for the track day as I could not get a spacer in with my prop any way this is wot I got sorted tonight .
I'v got to get some new bolts but it will do for now

Hi Ian

Can you tell me what mix match of parts you used for your clutch set up as I'm looking to have a second set up that is more road/driver friendly

I currently have an AP twin plate but have race material ceramettalic and it's not so road friendly

I gues I would need the standard flywheel, AP cover plate and a skyline single clutch plate, but will any plate fit with cosworth AP cover or is it only a spring plate type ?

Cheers

I have the helix reyland uprated cover, skyline paddle and 4x4 flywheel.

I have a spare AP cover brand new and I think I have a 4x4 flywheel if you want to try it out.

Yes, does A similar job to the ets. It looks like you can map it more yourself.

Yes Toby I'm told you can map it your self so let the fun begin lol any way joking a side I'v got a lad in Birmingham that has worked with this bit of kit for a long time now and has offered to map it to my car and the way I drive .
Very small update the new gearbox controller has landed in the UK so all being well over the next month or so we will get it all wired up and running

With your expertise with these cars mart you are proboly right but with standerd springs on the front and 200 on the rear the car rolled like a boat I the sea . It's got 4x4 rear arb and a bladded front set up on it now . But at the same time the gearbox has not been helping as it's been corsing the car to loos grip in the corners witch in the new year when I get the map dccd working that should be sorted and then we can have a second look at the springs but I must say it felt prity good the last time out at Mallory park . I all so need to look into tyres as that could / is all do letting the car down . In your eyes Martin wot would you put on the car / springs and tyres ?

Worth trying the Dunlop Direzza range or Toyo R888 (Or Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2) if mainly used on track, just keep an eye on the tyre pressures when they are up to temp as you need to find the optimal hot running level (as with all tyres on track) I would expect them to gain around 5-6 psi or more when hot and remember to pump them back up at the end of the day.

HI
softer springs and stiffer roll bars
