Just a small update as when the car was mapped the turbo killed it self on the way home and sins then I'v been using my good mate Rex,s spair turbo so it was about time I fixed it well this week my new turbo turned up
Im all so getting the parts togever the mod the rear diff / supra diff to have a oil cooler on it and the plan is when I'v done the diff I'm going to do a cooler setup on the skyline gearbox
Small update as it was nice today I got some work done on the focos first off was the diff cover as I needed to get the diff back out to change the spring inside it
Sorry no photos of the inside the diff . Then it was fit the new cooler diff cover and pipe it all up I'v just got to wire the censer up and the job will be finished.
All so I'v started getting so Spairs togever again lol 2 x 205 blocks and 1 x 202 block all at the right price
To be onist I'v sore a 202 block in a Escort Cosworth that was running aprox 400 BHP and the car was from abroad so if there happy to run them then I will give it go . Pluss as I got them at a good price and there getting a bit harder to get hold of now it's good to have some to fall back on if needed or to make some Ł on them

Cool, never heard of them. Were there any others 205, 200, 202? Anything else?
Small update time iv started getting some stuff to gever to put
a oil cooler onto the skyline gearbox
All so as I'm getting reedy for a track day on the 30th at Malory park I fort it best to wire up my MAP DCCD Controler and I have to say wot a bit of kit it works so well I'm over the moon with it and it's made so easy to set up to how you won't it to work .
Iv all so sent in a skyline rear gearbox prop flange and a supra diff flange into a prop shaft company as I'm going to have a prop shaft made for the car from all new stuff . Just got to see now wot it's going to cost but it needs boing

Just a small update as I did a track day at Malory park last week we had some small problems witch I'm now sorting out the first one was the front brakes they have now been reground and refitted . The next is the prop shaft as at about 100mph I was getting a lot of sound coming in the car from the prop so I'm now chatting to a place that are going to make a hi talk propshaft with all the right parts brand new no spacers lol
I am not sure if the prop I had made for the back of mine will be needed at all, I know the rear Cossie one will need to be adapted for the oppliger and I don't know if my skyline one will need to be adapted but my skyline rear might just plop straight on to your car Ian, it has a slider with grease nipple and was made for 500bhp plus....might be worth a Try?
Thanks very much for the offer Toby but I'm going to stick with the place iv been speaking to there very professional and no wot there talking about I met them at the kit car show last week in Coventry . If you have a look at the link there is a video of wot they do .
Iv just sent off for the last bit of the kit that will let me run the skyline gear box in full auto mode it's very good the way it is but I did find some small problems on my last track day in the hair pin but the rest of the time it was stunning
I got the car back on the floor tonight as all I was waiting on was the propshaft from propshaft services . It's taken a bit longer then I was hoping for but in the end I was working in Bracknel today so I popped over to them to get it witch saved me Ł18 in p&p

Will be patiently watching to see how you get on with fitting this bud 👍

Hi mate just so you no this is a add on to the first gearbox controler / MAPDCCD witch is already working the gearbox but it cannot read the speed of the car so it can not run in the fully auto mode at the mo . But saying that the gear box is stunning and I'm so glad iv got it working so well I'm never going back to the old mt75 4x4 gearbox
Just a small update
The second part of my MAPDCCD turned up this week all being well it should be fitted on to the car in the next week or so this part will help the gear box controler see the wheel speed .
I did a trackday yesterday at Bedford wot a hot day it was 35c 😳😳 well wot a fab day we had . I did just over 100 track miles yesterday . But wot a fast track it was the GT track 3.3 miles a lap . We did have some problems as the day went on the front brakes are still hub juddering when very hot and the car has got a very bad vibrashion at 100 mph witch has only been there sins I fitted the new prop shaft so that will need to be checked . All so if I stayed out for about 15 min I was getting fuel starveashion so new filters and a second scavenger pump will be fitted very soon . The diff cooler was running every time I come in witch means the diff was getting over 72 degrees but just about every one there was having over heating problems . I would all so like to say a Big thanks to javelin trackdays as they put on such a fab day . And to all my mates that come along .
BEDFORD is a great track, I have done thousands of miles on the full track. Quick circuit but can be hard on brakes. What sort of speeds were you hitting on the back straight after bank corner and before the chicane? My guess would be 140 ish?

My speedo was showing 120/125mph but as I'm running 18 inch wheels I would say the speedo is out a bit . I was doing 85 throw the chicane witch with the 4x4 working spot on made it so much fun .
I all so need to look into some slicks as I'm now driving beyond the grip of the tyres
I would spend the slick money on a good intructor, you will go quicker and not wear out the car.
I don't mean that to be arrogant or rude but the fastest mod I ever made on my track car was me and no matter how many hours tuition I took the instructors always found more. Even the F1boys have instructors still.
Bedford do employ some pretty good instructors but as with most circuits they are mainly racing drivers earning some cash, that doesn't always mean they can observe or teach well.
Don Palmer is a good teacher and can teach there.
