first go at starting the focos motor which did not go to well the problem was the bottom pully
second go well i got it to start but it was dog ruth again botton pully not helping and number 4 not firing
plug swoped out ht leads swoped loom belled out all good even did a copreshin test still no good
3rd go this is were the wifes KA came in to play as my coil pack was put on her car and that ran ruth so 36 pound and it was sorted and the pully was put onto the focos of my 3dr
so time to have a look at the bottom pully why it would not run the car
i first put the standerd one to a set mark then put the after market one back on and you could see the problem strate away the ring gear was out so i re drilled it and got it into the right place it did help but was still not right you can see in this photo how much i had to move it
so a second look at it and wot i found was the lugs were 5.5mm thick and on a standerd one the 4mm give and take .1mm so i removed some metal off the one side only and re fitted it well im glad to say it sorted it and it can run with the after market one for the time been
id all so like to say a very big thanks to dave for coming round today and helping out with small problem we had in the back of the car lets just say when Rex came round we told him to not have a fag nere the car

Glad you sorted the issues with the after market pulley
A big milestone for the car
we'll have to have a big push on the prep work in the coming weeks and see if we can get it painted this year . Lol
Cheers for machining the things for my cradle
Your a star
