Body wiring loom is finished THANK FOOK just need to tidy up the loom now and rap it in some protective braid.
Started to fit the new engine loom, this is lovely work...all clean and new.
It came with the a standalone uprated fan and fuel pump loom.
Fitted the AP twin plate clutch and flywheel and Tilton center push.Had a job to line up the two plates but got there in the end,I set the release bearing gap up and put the oil pipes on.
I drilled and tapped the block..... engine mounts holes out to M10 shitting my self incase I made a mistake!!!the GRP A engine mounts alloy arms have m10 holes so needed doing!
Hope to fit the engine and gearbox wednesday night I'm so looking forward to that as it will be good to get that in,then its the fuel pipes and rail, regulator
I want a Aeromotive Fuel regulator and bullet alloy fuel rail, with full -6 teflon aero quip lines,044 pump,I got a stand alone fuel pump loom,I'll use some nice bulkhead fittings to keep it all neat and nidy
Pics up wednesday

Hi I seem To have done loads or fartting about wiyh not a lot to show for it!
Got the clutch on and the center release bearing set up.
Got the gearbox on the there engine fitted front diff and prop put the engine and box it to the car
the engine mounts where a bugger to fit to the block and do up not a lot of room to get on the bolts

And the bottem of the inlet is close to the body mounting on the near side

Fitted the engine loom and routed the wires neat

And started to think about the intercooler piping and fitting the tial 50mm bov

Looks overkill in there I think but it was bought for my old scool TTE powered 500 hp sleeper celica 4x4 but never fitted

It cracked the block when being mapped @ 2.2 bar boost only covering 600 miles.......wanted to kill my self

getting there brett
would it not of been better to have cut the bottom of the chassis mount out & weld a plate in the top so you could fit the engine with mounts on from underneath .
going to be an awesome car when done
could you tell me the measurements of your chassis mounts ,how long, how high ,how wide please.

Its a pig to get engine in as you have to lift the engine up from underneath then bolt the alloy arms on to the block with the other end in the chassis mounting then try starting the bolts in the block

Tell what you want measuring from where to where and I'll do it over the weekend Andy

Stripped the rear wheel bearing carryers down and cut the caliper lugs off so the new rear brakes fit on,then shot blasted them, primed and painted black
also found some nice mesh off a coach roof mounted aircon uint "it went under a bridge and ripped it off!!" and shaped it to fit the grill and front fogs then used windscreen bound to fix it in place

A.is width at inner flitch
B.is from front of bracket ,inner flitch to engine mount hole
C.over all length
D.inner flitch to fold
E.WIDTH OF ENGINE MOUNT
f.back of bracket to bulk head ,o/s +n/s
G.height of bracket
H.flitch to engine mount hole

if it is at all possible it would be very helpful

Hi all getting on with it now

Fitted fan and fuel pump relays in the hole in the dash, the white bits are allot plates so can be flocked over

And made a carbon cover up to hide them up
Also I have been missing about trying to hide my HT leads on the rocker cover,Well it has taken a full 2 day to get it right!!!

Only because I want to hide the coil in the car! so the leads had to be long to reach the coil on top of the gearbox tunnel 900mm long leads!!!got them made up from ka leads

Don't want the engine bay to cluttered up

Fitted the GRP A top mounts and mocked up a a corner, hope it drops a bit!
