it didnt fall out. i noticed just in time
the thick steel diff mounting plate had cracked at the bolt holes causing the back of the diff to drop and hang of the front 2 bolts....
i dont think it was designed for 300bhp hard launches in mind.i had a few problems with eating prop centre bearings even though i had the prop balanced and double checked.

The car is a total write off. someone pulled out from behind a van to overtake and bang head on. At least this happened before all the hard work and that I have no injuries. Now to look for another clean E30.

thats unfortunate. i did exactly the same and crashed my touring on the way to the garage to drop off for my engine conversion. i was hurried into buying a new car and ended up with the white touring in my sig. a colour i dont particularly like on a car.
are the wheels still straight?

The Borbet B is ok somehow. Just a few small scratches. Will have to get it balanced to know for sure. I'm going to look at another 2 door E30 at the weekend. Then get a m tech 2 front bumper and will be back on track. This is going to be a long project.

Sorry to hear about the crash but thanks god you`re ok.
The E30`s have big servo units true !! Did you use the clio`s smaller servo or you just removed the E30`s one and just did with m`cylinders ?

Why does an E30 M3 handle better than a 325i sport ?

E30s are whole diferent story than Sierras, the M3 Shell is totally diferent in many ways, the c pillars are totally diferent the whole chassis is stiffer, it has a diferent geometry, basicly only the roof and the hood are same with the standart thing...

Where is your brake booster ? Can it be located on the driver`s side ?
Can the E30`s front antiroll bar be removed or re located infront of the steering rack ?
If that is done then the engine will fit in perfectly.
