if you have the black top zetec and focus rs pistons, there is no need for a de-comp plate unless you want to lower the compression more, you will also need uprated valve springs to run more than 8psi

if its silver top im sure them focus rs pistons dont fit in silver top as they are black top pistons, yeah de-comp plate would be ok for that power

the rods and pistons will fit in a silvertop 2.0l engine fine ,but as far as im aware you cant get new rings for them and the block probably would need a rebore to be 100% so that rules them out imo.

Any engine machinist who knows his job will be able to get a set of rings to fit...

I've struggled for piston rings in the past and my machinist has normally sorted me a set in less than 20 minutes...

I wouldn't worry too much!
