Sorry, I didn't comment on any of your builds rolling, I just said if mine was badly built and the geometry was off then it would have crashed way before now, so you must have issues with your own builds if you read between the lines of something completely unrelated
And no, driver error, simply overly active on throttle in the ice, completely my fault in a very narrow road
As for the engine, what's the spec you are building it to? ACL bearings are really good, but if you can get genuine Ford one's, great!

Fair enough, build it once...build it right! Take advice elsewhere from people who have built spot on engine's too, not just one source is all I'll say. Big difference between a normal engine and a 450bhp

Off work today, so gave her a bit of a wash and general tidy up. Waiting on pipework for my swirl pot to mount in the boot and my brakes from Marc
Shortly fitting after a bell colour change...

Better mate, best thing you can do to a Saph is throw all its components into a Focus But the ass end of a Focus is a little more wild on the throttle than a big ass Saph.
As for the lookalikes, each to their own, IMO they've become boring and predictable. I like mine because, well, look above

Car does look good, but needs some bucket style seats like the MK2 FRS etc as I think the cossy seats look wrong.

Oh aye, they were, loved them. Even more since they were Ł100 delivered But they're half leather, heavy enough really. More for looks if I had them, but I'll stick with these, keeps to the Cossie vibe

Slapped the brakes together today (caliper looks like its sitting on the bell, but it isn't ), kinda like the blue/silver combo with a white RL7
Otherwise, having to wait on additional pipework for the cage, but getting there

Love this car boyo. How is the engine going since it broke last time. What brakes were on it before. Were they just standard cossie brakes.
Have you drove it with your new brakes on.I take it there better.

Last engine didn't brake mate, just used a little too much oil due to scored bores. Could have kept going if I could afford the oil But the new engine is beyond clinically clean, really gone all out on this one
Brake were the standard 324x28 Brembo disc and calipers from the FRS, I just bought these rotors and bells off MK which are 325x28. They're really good

Cheers boys
And hell yeah Davey, he needs that back now, been too long. Best buy it back now and keep it like it is with a few updated details and make a nice reliable track car out of it. Now before it becomes a right rusty piece of crap
