OMG...........im at the point where I just dont have any time for my beloved FRST. she just sits there in the garage with spiders for company, and me occasionally talking to her like a mad man when im stressed out.

Problem being she had a seized ring over a year ago and I decided to do a full rebuuld with big power in mind. Im now reaching 1.5 years since she was brought home on the back of a recovery truck and the head, block, etc are all sat around waiting to be fitted back together. the plan was to to polish the gearbox to match the engine work and also to powder coat all the suspension before re-fitting.

the rest of the bodywork is mint and the intrior still as good as new having only 46k on wear.

I just need a few words of encouragement and a kick up my arse to get this ready for next years shows.

 

Get it on the go m8,you`ll your motivation back once you make astart on her..
get a big fuckoff heater in the garage spend a few nights in there......you know it makes sense...

If you think you have got problems just look at my saff resto in restorations and rebuilds....

Kev, to be honest me too lost some interest a while back, but regained it few days after, I know how you feel, but you cannot giove up now, think of it as your "precious"!!!
Have to be said, I too talk to her, caress her, I mean if the love for a car is so deep, you'll doo anything for her, it might seem a lot o' ork to be done, but use your imagination, think ahead!!! Think how she's gonna be, even if no one can see the polished part,(who cares, you dunnit yerself, be proud of that)
