my new car. thought id post it in here. shes booked in with tr racing on wednesday for engine out and bottom end rebuild.
its been mapped on premium fuel so im gonna have it remapped on v power and hopefully abit more boost. r/r run was 1.5 bar boost with premium unleaded fuel

rims have lacquer peling so need sorting. there 18s though with brand new 255 tyres,
i may get them done in anthracite.

are there any holes in the carpet where eye holes have been fitted so harnesses can be used. i have seen plenty of hot skylines direct off the boats with that done or still fitted and you know jappo matey has been into the motorsport side of things.

only a fortnight. going in for engine check on wednesday has a slight knock at 3k revs. i havnt driven it in anger yet

car is now at tr racing.
block is being bored out to 2.7.
forged wiseco pistons.
new late style crank.
jun oil pump.
standard rods.
trust sump extension and baffle.
hoping to see about 600 bhp on v power but engine should be capable of up to 800 bhp with supporting mods at a later date if i want more power.

wheels are looking much better now, as is whole car with a good clean



dyno plot at 1.2 bar boost



now running 1.7 bar spike, 1.5 held. estimated 590 bhp 480 lbft.
and this is my best times and 1/4 so far on the gtech

its has polished alloy cam cover now aswell. its honestly in a different league mate. ive never felt acceleration like it 0 - 100 in 8 seconds feels insane

top end should be around 185 on the rev limiter.
i havnt been above 150 though its the of the line and 0 - 100 its so fast ive lost all interest in top speed tbh.

sounds like a healthy stage 1 car, stage 1 r32 gtr should do the 1/4 mile in about 12 at best so ive read, there 200 kg heavier than a saph ive checked on weighbridge so if your running 360 bhp in your saph you will have same power to weight

well i soon got fed up of 470 in the cos

this is a different beast though mate.

on low boost at 1.2 bar 540 bhp it does feel abit tame now but cranked up with a 1.7 bar spike 1.5 held the surge of power coming on boost is immense, if its tuned anymore it will be 1.9 bar spike 1.7 held we shall see, i really dont think i need it though tbh.

they handle realy well consedering the weight aswell, do you know anything about the standard ecus's ? me mates one has a good spec engine built by k tuning but only on standard injectors, can the standard ecu be mapped or does it need a managment change

i think rising sun performance do standard ecu mods, ive got a power fc on mine i like it accept is has no knock control only warning so have to set warning and back off if it sees high engine vibration.

ive never liked the look of standard 32 gtrs but this really caught my eye its got some nismo bits on, massive rims spacered out, different grill etc just a few little bits make all the difference bit like a replica 3 door of rs500 but with near on touring car spec engine

stickered the car up today and polished the rims again lol

im happy with how shes looking for now though

Bet it goes well but take those stickers off, much better without. I also reckon it looks like it needs lowering a little more.
