bad news mate these cars need propper storage,especially how much we spend in em,limits working on them too which is a real shame as i wanted it up and running before the end of the year ready for shows and track

dont know how far you are like but that is much appreciated,and well worth it too,probably do long weekend builds get it done quicker

 

thought id show some pics of my car with my track drag wheels on think it looks quite mean on these,also to show how clean the shell is in the roof one of the best ive seen

 

and today found a pool of rain water inside which brought some surfice rust only leaked in due to the crap car cover and no front screen and rear 1/4 windows but i soon mopped it up and the floor looking nice again

 

then i covered it back up untill i go get a decent cover which is water proof,i was gunna post a few pics of a few parts like pedalbox fitted and so on but photobucket been playing up so i will do it some other time thanks for reading because without your replys and support it wouldnt make it a thread so to speak

 

please note the pic of the floor is when it had rain water and surface rust had appeared, the rust just wiped off with a cloth,and now dont look like that

 

well guys and girls,the strip down has started this weekend i will post up pics as and when i get them on my comp

 

seriously thinking about breaking the bean tin up its really getting me down been sat outside and not been able to finish it

 

at last the bean tin has a new home.....now the real work begins

mocked up the front mount cooler, custom pace rad,and oil cooler and looks like it will all just fit. loads to do,we plan to have it ready for central day next year, but not gunna hold our breath

 

today started on the interior floor pan,strip prep paint,planned painting inside moonstone blue as i have some spare paint left over,few friends have said just paint it matt black but im not sure yet as the cage is black and think the blue would break it up a bit,not wanting to sound too much of a bufty,lol


getting the waxoil and old paint off well messy,and takes bloody ages but well worth it

by tommorrow inside will be fully prepped,then will refit the cage things are now looking up

 

these bad boys arrived the other day,boost,oil temp,oil pressure control box,just need a fuel pressure one then im done for gauges

the suspension components have been painted in a ripple type affect,and the inside has been sorted,i will add pics and the updates,been extremly busy,thankyou for the kind words

well we been in the garage this weekend and the full car has had a strip down while everything is off think im gunna get the underneath stone chipped,so will go with the freshly painted suspension and brake components.
tanks been painted and pins in the bonnet.photobucket been playing up so will put pics up later
