My Texaco 3door Cosworth
Ok here is the story!
Some of you know I bought this 3 door Cossie couple of months ago with a A1 Rallyesport engine in the day after took it to APT to get it on the rollers to see what she got.
Engine was
200 block 6 studs
T34 .48 housing
Grey Injectors
RS500 Cooler
A1 Chip on L6 Ecu
Anyway went to do the run goto about 4500rpm and a horrid noise sounded like big end gone.
On APT Rollers
Being Recovered
So when i got back out come the engine
Split the head and found this
Now its just a paperweight on my desk at work.
So i took my engine out of my Saff and put it in the 3door.
Tial Wastegate Fitted with screamer pipe
Air injector fitted and put my EGT Sender in exhaust for my Zietronix kit.
Thats it for now next week the car will be going to I-TUNE for a custom 4" system turbo back

Actually I don't like that livery on the car. You can see verywell that it isn't a original RS500 touringcar.
But I really DO like the motor you've just put in. That is going to be a proper machine

Andy i hope so but im just going to run high 400s to start with to get it run in proper then go for big boost after.
Saphcosmike: take about 6 hours to get engine out and put the other one in and plum most parts in.
