without the rollbar kits here ect id have to wait ,
ill prob just weld them tot he chassis where there suppose to be
any updates on the hub packs mate ??
going to get the car home after the weekend and make a start on the rear

ok folks , popped over to c k upon finishing work ,
had a quick weigh of the stock cross member against the new k spec version
now it wasnt exactly scientific as we just used a set of common house scales but there must be right as they said im a fat fucker lol
the stock ford crossmember weighed in at 9kg
k spec 2wd tubi c-m came in a 5KG
so an instant 4kg saving wich is a nice result , and after a bit of discusson and reckoning on dropping the tube wall size to say 2mm opposed to the 3mm mine is it could be possible to shed another 1- 1.5 kg off that
but as weight was never the priority for me im happy as is ,
as wenn said k's going to have a tinker with a 4x4 setup and as the stock one weighs 11kg , will be nice to see how much it can be lightend ..

unless you were going to fill the pipe with stuff to aid it's strength?
either way, it's fantasicly simple to look at but it's a wonder why no ones done it before

I made one for the Honda Civic's, its much stronger and lighter. Tube is very good for strength so i'd imagine this will be stronger than standard also.

got to admit the show lacked a little as it didnt seem as busy as previous years

tbh mate , considering all my options at the moment not planning on letting it go , its more if a good offer came up then id consider it ,
mark made me an offer, i though about it , weighed up the costing and money went in and then told him what i wanted for it ....
think ill just have to finish it ,
