ok ok , i left at 11 but it felt like halfpast pmsl

anyway , been to karls and the bays in paint ,
just basecoat mind you , but its enough to litteraly leave me lost for words ,
i just stood there staring at if for twenty min ,
anyway you wanting the update , i see frayz is chomping for piccys ,
so got to k's . was having his tea
lol i was specifically told " LOOK BUT DONT FUCKING TOUCH IT ""
thought it was my car lol
so upon opening the door i was greeted by this
and upon peeling it back
i know its said alot , but the pictures really dont do it justice
i wish i had a better camera ,
the detail in the bay is amazing , a true credit to spesh's hard work and efforts , im truly gobbsmacked by it , havent stopped grinning for the last hour , and it aint even lacqured yet
a testament to karls commitment for perfection , and considering he has no formal paint training , id put the bay up against the best painters in the uk !!!!!

thats a thought andy ,
ill pass that to spesh ,
worst case if we dont , we could brush in the metal where the hole side is , im sure once the bolts go in it wouldnt be a corrosion issue anyway ,
lol nevermind drilling holes,
i dont even want to put a fucking engine in it now lol !!!
ohh and i think the turrets look mint now , with the spots showing and the way the top rings are ,
and its my car - you dont agree - kiss me arse lol

I have sent him a pm on the forum he uses for you bud to see if he still does it but there is another guy on there that also does it http://www.platinumice.co.uk/page009.html not cheap though.
Carbon mods state they do not do it in there FAQ's (number 6) http://www.carbonmods.co.uk/FAQ.aspx
Will look for others that do it, I asked Jay from Xsport once but he never got back to me so not sure if they do it.

i would be paying karl to paint the outside too as then it would all be his work (paint) and he is more than capable by the looks.
top build that is one lush engine bay K is good at what he do

Looking very good guys, a lot of attention to detail. How you going about putting engine in? Droping it in assembled, or building it up in the bay. Just wandering as a lot of care is going to be needed not to scratch the bay. :s

as much as id ask spesh to paint the outside ,its the time it takes
time frankly i aint got and aint fair on folk in que behind me ,
im sure gaz will do us proud , + the exterior deffo needs a booth !!!!
im off wrk friday , gaz is coming to view the car ,
but the motor will go in as assembled as poss james
will be plenty of cloths that day lol !!!!
