its expensive mate ,
around the 2500-3 k mark for the rear end thats cradel , hubs , link arms , and mark converted the hubs with a custom bearing pack so i can run cossie rear bearings rather than wrc ones ,
best thing to do would be pm mk motorsport ( or make as hes known lol ) and discuss what you want ,
hopefully he may have a pic for me this evening

Your fab work is so good, you'l be all day pointing it out and explaining to people what you did lol, its so snitchy no one will be able to make it out, you'l have to spray paint the welds in luminous orange lol

ok so as i said yesterday special was having a day off today , anyway when i rang him this afternoon to see how it was going , heard the familar sound of the compressor chugging away in the background
he just cant keep out lol !!!!
so i popped in to see how he was doing and refill the choccy biscuit barell lol ,
drivers side inner rear ,all finished
been given a coat of high build primer ,
and with that done i got on masking up in prearation for the seam sealer to be re applied ,
every inch of the car is being assessed and decided upon for the best finish possible ,
rather than just slap it on it will all be masked , gunned and then finshed with a smooth brush ........ then cpl coats of high build primer over top and then colour coat ,
shame a carpets going to cover it , but as always k ( and im coming around to the way of thinking ) wont put his name to anything less than 100% .
tomorrow should see the sealer in and hopefully inside in primer , then we can turn it over

billy i have no issues whatsoever explaining to intrested folk whats involved ,
its one thing knowing how its done and a complete other having the skills to actually do it ,
belive me , karls showed me plenty of things and gave me chances to try it myself , like fabbing up profiled sections ect ,
ive maneage to make them and theve looked like shite , then he will do it himself , show me were i went wrong and make it look as easy as fuck ,
but it aint lol , hence why the credit for the finish goes to karl !!!
and i do all the updates lol

ohh if o only had a spare 10 k lol it may well be lol
for the joints weve got some tube fed sealer , and just using gravitex on the underside , where its getting it ,
the 3m sealers good and expensive but weve used gravitex before and you can get just a good results ,
best part bout the underside is that ive done all the donkey work and cleaning already lol ,
should require a little bit of prep her n there , seal , and stonechip !!

if i had the time to do even half of what you've done fella's i'd have a minter than mint motor sitting in the garage/drive/carport
as it is i don't even have enough time to log in some days
lucky lucky chaps with understanding other halfs (my mrs is upstairs complaining i'm spending too much time on the computer/at work/watching telly/messing about with the kids/on the shitter/in the bath/etc

)i couldnt really ask for a better girlfrined than i have right now tbh dojj ,
shes NEVER ever complained about the project , even when i spend money or put of doing things to be in the garage , i just get asked what time ill be home for me dinner
and even when i end up 2 hrs later than than its no drama at the moment with it being at karls shes knows i want to be there as much and as long as possible because every hour while its there counts,
and as the schedule only allows for a cpl weeks she knows it a small sacrifce to push the car wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy forward lol ,
love her to bits

ok so work is progressing daily ,
todays update ,
got on with the sealer work inside the car

wouldnt say its flawless but its good enough for the girls we play with lol ,
k got busy finishing up drivers inner wing and fitting the repair panel to the only section of rot there was on the bottom of the drivers a pillar
pics
seemed rude not to sealer them up
floor was then vacced and scotched and hooverd again and then tack ragged
could eat your tea off it lol
and then with a little time to kill , k got a cpl coats of primer on the floorpans
amazing what a bit of primer can do ,
really looks a factory fit n finish now its all one coloured and seal'd
chuffed to bits,
big big thanks to k.

its hard to put a price on tbh mate , few people have asked recently
its depends on alot of things
- mk 3-4 shells condition
- floorpans condition
- level of finish you want ( i,e weld it in and seal in red , or weld ,seal,flat/linish ,re coat, seal ,primer ,)
- what rear end you plan to fit
theres a few other minor factors , like whos cutting the donor up ect ,
if its a serious intrest ,ill speak to karl and work out a rough price ,
drop me a pm or better yet speak to me @ central day lol , hes fully booked up for work till around april anyway lol !!
