with this welding lark being done, will you be positioning some mounts into the strut tops front and rear so you can slot is some strut braces later on?
it would look better than just having them stuck in with nuts and bolts![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
i must say, it's looking nicer and nice as it's coming together

thanks for the comments folks ,
yea the fab is top notch , every section it looked at for the best possible way to make it clean and factory
obviously not every single part can look like its never been cut out /or fitted ,
but were doing our best where possible,
dojj, re the strutbrace , havent decided yet tbh , it will have one but sseing as paints a while away yet the option for weld in isnt a problem ,
got a pm of a gentleman on here that builds rear end suspension setups for some of the top firms ,
throwing ideas bk and forth atm see what we can sort![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

no wenn , currently in talks with a chap about a custom wrc/lateral link style rear ,
its hush hush at the mo , but its looking promising ,
im going to try and have it build to suit the mk three rear rather than have to chop it all out ,
its 100% rot free so i want to try and leave it intact , barring suitable shock towers that will have to be fitted ,
watever the final design it will be 100% fully adjustable ,

ohh wayyyyyyy to eairly to say fella ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
kinda yeah wenny , that is a lateral link wrc style cosworth one wenny , retaining bolts where the cos beam would , similar to ritchies in his ka but wayyyyyyyy higher grade ,
mine will be built to fit the mk 3 rear end , either mounting to the chassis rails , or we will add box sections between the rails for it to mount to ,
the final desing hasnt been decided yet , tis meerly in the planning stages,
but i aint worried one bit lol !!!!!

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
![Default](https://passionford.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
seems easier to put the sierra floor pice in then put that cradle in the pic in, save making one of pieces and easy to maintain etc in the future, surely there will be alot of work cutting and welding anyway as the rear arm hangers on the mk3 are i the way and sections need welding in to mount it
and the spare wheel well is in the way

not really the standard arm hangers will just be unpicked at the welds, and the boot floor was going anyway as will run a fuel cell ,
that style beam would only need minor mods on the ares that run back to the cos beam mounts, ,
plus as the mk3.4 used a tie bar arrangement to keep the wheel center of the wheel arch that mount point could be used for the link style tie bar location , allbeit a rosejointed bar ,
flatting a boot floor and removing a cpl brackets is wayy less agg than grafting in a cos bk end,
and much neater in the end aswell imo ,
