ok so the update and where we stand as from today
well this is the old shell on the spit , getting the underside inspected
me having the news broken gently to me that its scrap
so the next this was
chop the shell for a bit anth needed for his mk three
at this point i was
sick as fuck
anth seemed quite happy
the shell then knew its fate
espically when we got here
then it ended up here
where it was quickly dispatched of by the grab ,
and what did all this time money and effort get me in return ,
yup Ł 19 fucking quid
still once that was gone and after a dispondant 4 days i went to the unit today , got speaking to anth , whos decided to pack in his mk 3 project due to lack of funds
so a deal was done on this
picys dont do it justice , but the short story is it done 27 k from new was a complete auto ghia when anth got it , was stripped to the bone , small areas addressed and is about 90 % ready for full primer and paint ,
supidly clean and 100% rot free and solid ,
couldnt be happier for a base for this , obvioulsy the floor ect will be chopped out ,
and the donor sierra that dojj is bringing up in the morning will have the same treatment
more pics to follow over the weekend ,
plan still is polaris grey with carbon roof few trick mods, but series 1 now rather than s2
but were bk on track , should be on the operating table in a week or so ,

thats all that was good with it mate , it looked good , piss poor welding , patches hiding fab work ,
just really badly put together and unsafe for 450 rear wheel ponies

just a little update on a sat eve ,
as id said the donor sierra was due it blue oval today ,
unfortunately dojj had some trouble with the a frame bringin it up the road , to it was called off till we can source a trailer ,
till then the shell will be braced up and be awaiting the chopping block lol

a little trouble is a bit of an understatement, it took 2 hours to move the fooking car 100 yards down the road as everytime we went to pull away, the thing would scoot out to the left
we sort of gave up at around 1.30 in the morning
but a trailer will be turning up soon (i hope) as i've asked everyone there is to ask, and hopefully someone else who is around the west london are will be able to help me with this thing because, as soon as i've got a trailer, it'll be up there, and if that means having to hire one myself then it'll have to be done
