ok folks , so todays update ,
well not much to write really the plan was to get the donor sierra stripped , and all the metal that isnt needed removed , just leaving the chassis ,inner wings , and bulkhead
so some pics of todays distruction ,
ohh and just a note, if theres a lack of detailed pics i apologise, for two reasons
1. i was too dam busy lol
2. fiddy came over with his super dupa camera to get a load of snaps for the mag, so hes got them all ( will get them tomorrow)
anyway you all know what removing an interior looks like
then it was bye bye roof
the up n ova
and the chop
note cut right to inner edge of inner sill
so thats basically how it was left today , stripped n gutted lol
sorry dojj ,
tomorrow we start on the mk 3 shell

no probs mate,thought i`d text u while i waited for dog to have a crap
hope to get 3dr inner wings primered this week and painted at weekend,taxi driving for kids permitting (middle one that did his mile swim earlier this year is doing his 3km on sat)
any news on that `part` you said you may be able to sort me?

Top work Beefy.Fiddy text me yesterday saying he was only going to jackos to take a few pics and he said he was there most of the day.I said to Fiddy we will have to pop down to Jackos some time fir a catch up.

How clean is that shell for H reg, its a minter for sure...

the plan is , get a few things out the way at blue oval and collect the box section for bracing the mk 3 then ill start cutting out the floor thursday

havent really touched the project this week,
few other important things going on in the garage at the moment, and not wanting to take anyone away from them , hoping to have the braces welded into the shell this week and begin on removing the mk 3 floor this weekend ,
will update as we go folks ,.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
thats 1 clean sierra mate, dojj come thru there,
looks just how mine was done, trim the bottom of the windscreen down, cut the spare wheel well out and shorten the floor, then weld it in lol job done
