hi beefy cam trigger works fine much neater with no dizzy .i got the oil pump drive mods off b9 kos (richie)
right time for an update i went to rally day saturday which was excellent & when i got home i felt like a change on the rear end so on sunday morning i jacked car up & ripped the rear arches off so i can cut the rear inner arches out to move arches in a bit & up a lot & fit my wrc style strut tops in & make room for a set of water radiators in the rear 1/4 panels like the group 5 zakspeed cars have & fit a bigger style arch similar to group5 carspics to follow

the car will eventally be going all one colour the rear end is getting done this year & next year the front will be done then i will paint it all one colour ,its just to much to do all at once as i really want to go to central day next year .

I think your car would look superb with its current style kit,painted all over in Moonstone blue with the large black side decals, and your wheels in Silver with the OZ stickers.
this kind of style, but the black being moonstone, and the silver being satin black
I think the full blown zakspeed kit looks a bit ott

ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bolloksss i phoned up fibresports today to order my new arches only to find out they had a fire & lost all of there moulds so im now trying to source another kit to cover up the huge holes ive cut in the 1/4 panels
& i have now finished cutting out all the un wanted steel & im ready to weld it all back in again but higher& wider ,ill think about the kit later

cutting a car up seems like a long time ago and the pics of your car brings it all back..do like that kit..car will be something else when complete
with all the mk1 and mk2 4x4 conversions about it wont be long and there will be a club for them..

but that has,nt put me off from cutting the other side out ha ha looks like ill be building my own moulds to make the arches i want as nothing else will cover the holes i cut in the 1/4 panels . i should get the new profiles for my wrc top mounts this week & then its full steam ahead fabricating the new struts towers & inner arches .id like the body painted before christmas so i can lay up some fibre glass on the car to make the moulds .

yesterday i finally got my rear passenger wheel off fooking stud was spinning in the hub i ended up drilling it off after spending half an hour with a 3/4 drive 600ft/lbs torque hammer gun on it with no joy .so after that i set to on cutting the n/s rear arch out in preparation for the new tubs .
wrc style top mounts
day light through the car side
chassis legs trimmed up for strut towers
1/4 panel trimmedup to be boxed in to take radiators in 1/4 panels
old wheel arch & 1/4 panel
should be welding tomorrow
if all goes well.
