Fair play mate thats looking fantastic, must be nice to see it going back together so quickly.
I keep thinking that cutting up the rear of a car is a bit scary but after seeing cars like this it makes me think that cutting my Mk2 Fiesta up to change the rear to indepent rear suspension is not such a hard job after all.
Keep up the good work

i descided to have a easy night cos i got home late so i descided to strip the back of the car back to bare metal as its been painted at least 5 times which is a shed load of paint which is just gonna slow me down lol.
first off i finally stripped out the front seats & carpet
then i stripped the door aperture
then the boot aperture
then up the b pillar & down the roof
ill get on with the welding tomorrow.

the above set up is fully adjustable & stupidly light compared to the heavy old sierra stuff & i can make the hubs so that i can wide track it to fill my rear arches out using the same wheels for now.as i cannot afford new wheels yet .& my body kit is going approximately 100mm wider than my old kit each side that is .

right been quiet busy today fabed & welded up the front section of the n/s 1/4 panel
also removed the rear beam & as i had richie,s rear cradle in my van it seemed rude not to offer it up for size but i may have to cut the original diff x member to clear diff .

yes mate i am going staggered fitment probably 285 or 300 30,18 rears on a 11 or 12" rim & a narrower possibly 10"front with taller profile so rolling radius is the same ,but when that is going to be i do not know as & when i get the money

fuel filler gone

then i cut the lower rear panel out to fit the biggest diffuser i can get under there.
tomorrow i may cut the rear foot well out & box it up to take a side exit exhaust .

right today i have mainly been making a jig for the rear cradle
thhen i set to with a grinder &chopped the rear diff x member out because its in the way new cradle puts diff higher in the car which is good for me as im lowering the car so much .
now all igot to do is put a new one in but higher up .
