Fair play mate thats looking fantastic, must be nice to see it going back together so quickly.

I keep thinking that cutting up the rear of a car is a bit scary but after seeing cars like this it makes me think that cutting my Mk2 Fiesta up to change the rear to indepent rear suspension is not such a hard job after all.

Keep up the good work

hi graham i bare metal painted it 22yrs ago so it got a lot of paint on it just takes hours to rip it all off then ill be etch priming it then two pack high build primer then base coat black & laquor.so it will look a bit weird next year black rear end ,roof, sills boot & agreen & yellow front ,with gun metal interior with laquor .oh & a black under side
.
ps did,nt get much done today due to helping richie (b9kos)to take his engine, box & suspension off the car. then strip his lovely rear suspension set up down to bits so i can take it to work & copy it to put it on mine

the above set up is fully adjustable & stupidly light compared to the heavy old sierra stuff & i can make the hubs so that i can wide track it to fill my rear arches out using the same wheels for now.as i cannot afford new wheels yet .& my body kit is going approximately 100mm wider than my old kit each side that is .

i haven got any money so far i spent Ł15 on a 8x4 sheet of steel to do the rear end rebuild i already had the profiles for the strut tops i got the filler & primer i just need the base coat & laquor & i could get all the profiles & tube to make the rear end for about Ł50 its the labour that costs the money & i can do that my self

also removed the rear beam & as i had richie,s rear cradle in my van it seemed rude not to offer it up for size but i may have to cut the original diff x member to clear diff .

yes mate i am going staggered fitment probably 285 or 300 30,18 rears on a 11 or 12" rim & a narrower possibly 10"front with taller profile so rolling radius is the same ,but when that is going to be i do not know as & when i get the money
