No. Was planning for it to be running this weekend but awaiting a critical part called the cam cover.
Will get it mostly finished this weekend though apart from fitting some of the "other" bits that have arrived at my house over the last few weeks like a carbon dash. Also some wiring on the new management to finish off.
Ask lee about his new design in rustic gauges he was trying to convnice me looked cool!!!!

Yes, one of them now has no paint on the bezel. Its "Rustic" according to Lee. I think it looks just plain shite and of course guess who is top of the list to "just paint them"? According to mechanic Manning its a 2 minute job
Anytime Doug. Feel free mate. Probably about an hour from yours. Maybe a little less?
Another 150 quids worth of quip turned up this morning I needed to finish the fuel system off. Nice small battery coming Monday but still no sign of the Cam Cover Rainbum!
Carlo, cheers for the offer. Got a spare here, just want to fit the nice new one and forget about it.

FPMSL @ that cam cover still not done, thats been literally a couple of months now hasnt it?
Good job you changed your mind so much on the rest of the spec and stu added so much extra work into it, that its still not ready for it anyway so it isnt actually holding you up.

Cant believe Lee has not posted the new rear carbon section I did!!! Even I am pleased as it incorporates the new roll bars and still allows him boot access!!!

Churchy (who does my machining work) has been off ill for the last 5-6 weeks with severe food poisoning brought on by a dodgy KFC (at one point he was rushed to hospital with the onset of kidney failure, which they only noticed when he started turning yellow ). Unfortunately he is still off work and is on 16 tablets a day and is basically going to have the condition for life . The food poisoning brought on a bout of Colitus (sp?), which is something to do with the swelling of the organs, and this is non-curable and he can have a relapse in another few months or if he is lucky, it can lay dormant for the rest of his life.
Obviously because of this, I have been reluctant to push for the cam cover, but now he is out of hospital, it is done and should be with you tomorrow or Wednesday latest (post office dependent). It has been sent to Lee's mum's address as originally instructed .
I can only apologise for the delay, but normal service will be resumed in 2 weeks when he is back at work . In the meantime, Lee asked for gloss finish, I convinced him that crackle was the new "black" , which he agreed to, but then phoned me back later and changed his mind to gloss black, which is what it got coated to (against my better judgement, but the customer gets what HE wants ) .

Yorik
Yorik is running again.
It started on the key. Pretty please with considering its had:
New Loom
ECU change
Coilpack conversion
Closed Loop converstion
New Injectors
Every sensor new
Engine refresh
Just awaiting the Pro Alloy bits back from Wayne and its done.
Lee, we need photos. Really pleased with all the bits and the way its turning out!
The cheeky Fox actually stole a cloth from my garage tonight too whilst I was in there working!!! Had to chase him and fetch it back from next door!!!
HA HA....was just reading back through the thread and found this comment from one of the early pages.
This was the original intention.....Its just not quite stayed like that!
Will be an awesome car when done. Will be Tag team Red and Yellow bathtubs out on track annoying everyone soon!
