My braking was a "little" less strenuous than yours Lee
It went like this:
Porkie: You can take it out if you want but the brakes are cooked
Chip: Ok, thanks

The locost racing buys all run the standard M16 cortina stuff with 240mm ish solid disks and are convinced that if I go vented ill never keep them hot enough.
A lot of folk with higher powered cars ont eh forum run vents, but normally only 260 etc under 13s.
I really want to stick to 13s if I can, but I reckon due to the uprights im using Ill only get 260x20 vents with 4 pots on the front and Im now worried that wont be enough...
So.... Is Porkie a serial brake abuser, or are they just not big enough?

you got a picture and model number of front brakes ( i realised getting a model number is a slim)
