Got sent some pics from ProAlloy...
I'm very clumsy and kept whacking the sump as you can see
So they have bingwinged it and also made this nice sump guard thingy for me
Wayne also sent me this picture of an ass. Not sure if its his or Alex's... or if Rainbum just popped over for lunch and was trying to get lucky?

Sumps look really cool and should help stop you bashing yours and ensure 100% no oil starvation problems (not that we had any with the gate system)
Thats the second one on Lee's car and I think this one (which was a spare minter) lasted about the same time as the old suspension. So about 400 miles.
HA HA, like you havnt got a whole folder full of pictures of Rainbums rear end on your laptop anyway chip!
Photobucket not accesable here so never have the issue of unexpected images on my screen!

Combe should be first outing
Can't wait!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!!!!
Be good to see what you think of it when you have a go mate
I'm gutted about the 911 as well mate its had DEATH though. Proper proper proper abuse and its a big heavy car.... around half that amount is the clutch to be fair. where I have not had it done and been slipping like a fooker its taken the dual mass flywheel out as well... also clutch slave or something blah blah.
Wonder if Proalloy know I am paying them what I pay Stu???

sweet, i'm going to "try" and catch you..pmsl, but only if it's dry, else i'll be driving like a girl..lol
Ouch about the clutch and flywheel , but just from the comments on here i know it;s be hammered and proven to be up to the job, but i guess all the goodtimes take their toll on te car,
bit like my 205's engine, only so many track days it can be reliable
you may want to update them on the payments

Nope JZM are doing the work....
JZM reckon one of the stupidly expensive 100 cell Sport cats is fooked. Thats whats been causing that engine light all the while by the way.
DMS reckon there is no way its broken and they have done over 150 996TT's and this would be first failure....
I'm special
DMS will sort it under warrenty though whatever is problem

same one mate. feels like standard one. Good for upto 650 brake apparently. Only few hundred more than X50 one as well I think.
The X50 one I had in before only lasted 4000 miles.... wounder!
how you getting on with yours? bet you wish you had stopped wasting money on shonky Fords YEARS ago huh?

update...
Proalloys been busy welding in lots more little triangle gusset doofloppys for strength and now added some more bars as well.
This is going to be SOOOO much stronger and stiffer at the back now!
This also meant the boot needed chopping up some more as well...
REALLY missing the car now!!! soooo wanna drive it again!

Im glad steves engineering skills are petter than his photography skills
Definately looks like the shell with have massively more strength now with all the extra triangulation, and for a pretty minimal weight gain too.
Going to be awesome I reckon Lee, I cant see you getting bored of this toy for a VERY long time, its worthy of any race driver and will give you loads of potential to really push yourself learning its limits etc.
Properly cool
