Well we've had a very successful morning.
Simon has been to set up the cars running in map and after a few tweeks is running beautifully. Absolutely delighted with how it runs and drives at the moment.
Cant wait to get some more miles on it. All her temps and pressures are solid and its feels and sounds fantastic.
Really pleased, so far so good

First oil change done and 170 miles later she drives lovely.
Been a busy boy today fitting these. Ride is very compliant but she needs a geometry setup, also need new camber bolts as the tangs broke off the rears
Still, she drives fine for guesstimated geomtry lol
And before anyone says about my rusty roll bar and mounts, theyre all coming off for powdercoat along with teh rear calipers for a freshen up

Good to see this is running well after all of your hard work. This is one of the most comprehensive builds I have ever seen on here. Lots of time and effort being spent to get everything absolutely perfect

Nice car Frayz.
Apart from my 3dr, my wife and I both run Scoobs as dailies (O3 Impreza STI prodrive, and me a 04 Forester STI).
Can you tell me what your planned geometry settings are for your car?
Cheers
Iain

My rarest find to date,
Ive wanted one of these for years, but Prodrive stopped making them a while ago. Ive managed to finally trace a genuine works S7 WRC carbon vent brand new with the prodrive sticker on it.
Taken years to finally find one, then out of sheer fluke i found this. I cant wait to cut the bonnet for this badboy.
My rarest find to date? I think so!

When is it and are they still holding them at Southend?

The Bomber saw a swap to NGK Racing 8 plugs tonight in preparation for mapping. I was delighted with my idea of the removable fuel pump/filter cradle too.
The whole system came out in about 3 minutes, 2x AN fittings, 1x bolt and 1x multiplug and the whole assembly lifts out for easy plug access. The drivers side is merly loosening one jubilee clip and removing the turbo intake.
Also managed to source a USB to serial adapter and could recaliberate teh Innovate wideband to read Gasoline. So with the wideband reading correctly and proper plugs. Shes all systems go for some proper boost.
Woohoo

Lol at you lot,
Well, what a day. To put it blunt the day was amazing... i am delighted... and the car is in short, f'kin ballistic on the road!
Huge thanks to Simon, Charlie and CJ for their work on the car, and a huge thanks to my wingman MADDOG for coming with me.
Ive got heaps of thankyou's to do and say but the bottom line is:
525bhp and 480lbsft on plain Vpower at 1.9 bar.
573bhp and 510lbsft with 20% meth at 2 bar.

10K+ Poster!!
Great results on the rollers, the car must go rather well now! It's good to see the end result being so worthwhile after all the effort you have put into this project!

Sorry guys, nothing much to tell right now as it hasn't moved much over the winter months. I'll keep this updated as things change though. Hopefully a few nice additions this year and hopefully some magazine coverage

Hi chaps,
Been pretty quiet around the forum recently. So just thought id post a little update of some small refreshments on the car.
Rear Brembos have been refurbished in black/yellow to match my APs up front.
Rear diff guard got a freshen up
Rear ARB, brackets and links also got a jolly up with some fresh powdercoat. All fitted up with new stainless fasteners and new rear pads in the calipers.
None of this can be seen i know and there will be lots more going on under here, but at least I know it's all reasonably tidy again for the summer,
Also have some more bits and pieces going on but will update when I have more to show.
Cheers, frayz
