Right, quick update!
Engine bay now looks like this!
Top end of the supercharger removed:
Heat exchanger removed:
Delivery from Wizards Of Nos:
Marking out with new fuel rail:
Scary part - drilling holes!
Say hello to my little friends - lol
Now seen here...
And here
A short time later:
Then i started doing this... From this:
To this!
Then this arrived...
And one of these!
Then a bit of this...
And a start on the exhaust ports for the new head...
More as it happens!

Might not make massive numbers like some of the Cossie boys - at the end of the day most people are topping these chargers out at around 290bhp and there's no easy way of increasing from there sadly

Busy?! Understatement of 2009 dude
Think i'm going to have to pull out of Bedford - not prepared to rush this and make any mistakes - if i can get it all done, dusted and shaken down for RSOC Central Day at the pod i'll be happy

As well as the design allows...
Seriously - to run an air to air intercooler setup (my personal preference) would probably free up some power but is virtually impossible to do on this particular setup.
The powerworks kit was designed as a 'bolt on' solution and it works well, don't get me wrong...
But i did find i was getting high ACTs on track - one of the reasons i've changed the spec to try and get the engine to make the same power at less boost - i.e 14psi at 50 degrees gives the same power as 10psi at 30 degrees...
Nowt ventured, nowt gained

15K+ Super Poster!!
Will - have a look at extra pumping capacity - ideally u want to generate pressure in the system - it has a signficant effect on getting the heat out of the chargecooler core.

as i suspect i'll have superior air flow. That could well see a reduction in boost pressure and air temps accordingly...
Apologies for updates being slow progress - been working some ridiculous hours recently, but hey - overtime is no bad thing!
Found a few minutes to mock out a few more bits for the nitrous - joyous task of working out what i control, what the nitrous maximiser controls and what the ECU controls - making sure it's consistent and repeatable is the plan!
Oh - and picked up a few bargains at Autosport which i've finally got round to unpacking!
Might get chance to do a bit at the weekend - will update as it happens!

Righty - managed to get a bit done on the dash today!
Started by removing the inside of the surround - this was a LONG and painstaking job, let me assure you!
From this:
To this:
Then time to cut the carbon surround to sit behind it:
Which then looked a little like this!
And when the tape came off:
Then time to finish the surround off and paint it:
Decided the black backing was better on the AEM gauge:
Semi finished article:
More to come soon hopefully!
