Justin,
He was worried he was going to be third out of us three, I asked him about all the novices that would be in front of him as well . He swore at me .

Different, this is Warren's:

He had to cut all the bracing out of the centre to achieve the three, which means that at speed his bows . Mine retains same integrity as standard bonnet .

Not keen on the way it looks but i understand why its done, did you measure any differences before and after? (I know how you like to see proof these things work)

Even on the road there is a noticable difference in the water temps, which stay much more consistantly around the 86°C mark whilst the car is moving.

On full chat, I have not been able to run accurate comparisons, as at the last track day (Snetterton), I was able to run full boost (no problems with noise), so this put MUCH more heat into the engine bay. I suppose I should have run it at the normal boost I have been running recently to see what comparable temps it was.

I am pleased with how it looks and how it seems to work so far .

Mike, i do like it, but i dont think id have had so many vents in each strip, but thats just down to personal taste.

i presume Brendan cut a little of the underside webbing from each side section to enable the vents up each side tho?

On a side note Mike what did you say to the guys at work when they realised you had cut all of their lockers up for the vents for your bonnet?

Sod off you wankers .

Kelv,
Your car is looking well! And yes, he had to trim a small amount off to do the side vents, but it still retains the full structural rigidity .

Franco,
Shame about yours .

Have to agree, always thought Warren's looked terrible although I understand it's function over form. When I looke at Mike's I thought it looked ok but not great, however Kelv that looks spot on mate!! Maybe it's the colour....... but I think it's the amount of vents.

However who cares what anyone else thinks........

Mike, why you so bothered about keeping structural rigidity in a bonnet that is nothing more than a heat plug? I'd be far more concered with removing my wings from a structural point.

When was the last time you seen a front end crash with the bonnet in tacked

That looks bloody awesome!!

Warrens looks good too! Think Mikes doesnt look as good because of the colour of the car.

Doesnt look terrible thou, function over form in the case is ok!
