Dampers will be on shortly, the top mounts are just being drilled and tapped for the strut brace, so that it can be fitted without the need of any nuts .

Paint looks a bit bright, as the rest of the engine bay is so filthy. Will look a lot better when the top mounts get back to being dirty again (easier than cleaning the rest of the bay) .

Why would i want to spend a few Łk on an inlet manifold lol. the whole point of my setup is to see what the standard head and manifold can cope with

I'd mount it in that area Mike, can that black box be moved? You could then mount the canister with a couple of P-clips from the lip of the inner wing.

You should have known they would be empty promises!

I think you'll find black is the new bling, so where does that leave gold!?

Why can you have a bracket off the back or front of the strut brace for them. I'm going from memory but I recall there should be room.........

Paul,
If fitted to the strut brace, then on the offside it would be directly above a 900°C heat source . Join Franco in the not very "bright ideas" crew .

Mike - can you have longer hoses on the Ohlins dampers? We had similar problems on our Subaru and ended up mounting them up fron on the slam panel. Not the best option for a rally car, but for track car it's nice and provides airflow to cool them as well.
