It appears that the problem maybe part of the loom so over the week i will remove the complete engine loom and check condition, if it's shagged then i'll have a braided one fitted.
Brammer, I'm after one door moulding strip if you have a mint one you want to sell from your oe set (one of mine has got a slight kink in it
)
ps had an email back from phil regarding weather strips, he should hopefully be getting them to him with in the next two weeks.

Stu i don't and the company that i got mine from will only sell as a complete set. But email this guy on ebay http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/rs-auction/ as he used to break complete sets and may have something left.

Slight update,
The majority of the engine is complete with the wasted spark gear fitted but the car won't start, after calls with a couple of people it appears that the the loom could have breaks in it due to power loss at the injectors. So i have purchased a Ryan engine loom which is mint and once the weather is better will be fitted and hopefully the car will start
I have also picked up 2 sets of complete 3dr wheels, 1 set in need of a referb and the other like new in picture.
Some may say why bother, i don't know what it is about them but i just love the look of them on the car so over this year i'll chop and change between these and the comps

More updates when the sun comes out

Update time - The car is all back together with the new ECU, wasted spark & ryan loom and up and running thanks to tony @ turbosystems for sorting me out a new babyboard so quickly
I have a couple of things to sort before it goes to MSD at the end of the month for a setup. The coil overs, adj TCA's and 044 pump are being fitted this week so i'll update then.
Quite surprised with the shine considering it's been stuck in the garage for over 6 months

Right got the coil overs, adj tca's, 044 pump and rear brakes sorted, just trying to find a perfect setting for the car, so far it's gone from slammed to the height it's at and 2/3 hard on the setting (what do others have theirs set at??)
Anyway here's some pictures taken this morning after a maguires gold session

I think the coil overs are the best mod on the car, it's the first set i've had and i'm well impressed with the job they do and how easy it is to adjust the height etc.
One thing i'm not sure about is the tca's, what is an ideal setting for them to be on???
