Default i'm happy and you?

Yes I am, just found and won some nice parts on ...yep ebay!! Hybrid turbo, the head is underway from your dearly beloved Albion, received the LUK clutch last week!! OK, down part here is, that my wallet can no longer support it i don't give a damn, you only live once!!!

Ok, beside that the car will get a major boost next week, rear panel to be fitted, new roof, etc as my friend has done all HIS work in his garage(afterhours), so he'll be boosting things up.
My job, starting on the front bumper, wide mouthed w/ some extra's to be done. Oh decided to remove the rear spoiler and not to be reusing it, will be one in the new M3/5 style
will keep ya'll ....informed

Guys, and dolls, today I noticed what friendship is, was and always will be;
As I was occupied, nearly all day i couldn't help me mates out in welding, when I did sneak outta the place, they were working on MY car!! I can't tell them enough how much I love and cherish them. Through this way THANKS 2 Freddy and Danny.

Work(they) started on the rear chassis tubes, also the new rear panel is already installed, rear lid mounted. Pics are coming!!! In all sneaky peaky movements forgot the digi cam

PICCIES.

Lads and Lassies admire the car (we'll get there ....eventually )
This is perhaps a good tip for anyone having a try with fibreglass. This is how it goes, buy a can of foam (ya know that foam that triples in volume), anti gravel spray, fibre glass. Apply it on the well roughened surface or whatever you want to change, let it dry overnight, then take a brand new cutter and just slice in the desired shape, you can easily sand it down to get the shape you're after. Shake the can of anti gravel well and jus tspray it over the foam and the part(i.e. bumper), let it dry and then just apply the fibreglass, et voila. The antigravel prevents the hardener to be soaked up by the foam.

The engine bay is nearly finished, mm mmm doesn't that battery tray look nice??

Rearpanel and lid is done/mounted

The black roof, just needs to be finished (welding spots, etc...)

Front bumper should be finished within the week.

Engine progress is "0", but all parts have been bought or are beside the engine. Flowed head by roger sport, hybrid turbo, piper 285T, LUK clutch, hang on .....s**t haven't got a decent intercooler, anyone got a GRS or pace for spare or selling??

Cheers guys!!!

Yet again big for me m8s!!!

Well not at the moment, but the nose should be ready to be painted.
Would I let you guys down? Naaah!!
Like stated in my signature "blood sweat and tears!!" Will leave the plan of making my own rear deck lidspoiler as is, hard times on this one will be to get everything qualtiy finish. That's the way I am even if I'm this close, if I can't get that quality look, of it goes!!!!

Default Nope

tho I did bid on it til Ł85, then he retrackted the auction, as was advertsised somewhere else. BUT I've found meself a spanking brand new Scorpion exhaust still wrapped up never used, made a deal with it too, Focus ST 170 brake kit, with fitting kit for an erst, costed me the balls, not if considered that shipping to Belgium is included?
My project is in a bit of a sloppy phase, working on the cut oo front bumper. Should ave saved me monnies for the paint work, but heya man's gotta o what a man's gotta do

Default as a matter of fact

was thinking in posted or updating this, but got too lazy
gave up the plan of making me own smaller rear deck lid spoiler "a la M5" would never have gotten it straight, so on came the disc and sanding it all down , so went down the old '90 spec path, always seems the best option and still looks nice too.
Oh, got finally finished with the front bumper, see pics ,reafdy to get painted. Tried to continue with the S1 bodykit, but between the rear arch and the side skirt I got a gap of 2.5 cms/1 inch??? HELP, should I just fill the gap with bodyfiller, or try and refit everything?
inside is just a gatherinig of rubish and paperwaste, but in all it starts to look like a S....NAH not even in a mile

Will try to give a weekly update from now on cheers lads

Default this long ?

Nothing major going on, sanding, smoothing some parts and getting all the dents out of the right part of the car.

next up would be the roof on both sides, smoothing all the welding in the circles.

Don't mind all the white circles on the pics, dust spots on the camera lens

A better look on the removed M5 spoiler "debacle" and the rear S1 arch, mjammie
