Has to be said I'm not doing it alone, two friends of mine are giving me a veeery big hand. And believe me when I tell them how it's going to be w<hen once finished, they don't call me stupid... but dumb, I only tell them
So this is only the first of a series o' pics, not much to see, except for a big dent in the left rear panel, some rust, more to come of this beast loads more

The front seats have had it mate, you gonna need to search for a new pair or send them to a specialist re-trimmer giving him all new bolsters, looks like all the springs and everything have collapsed. Best of luck mate, I'll be tunning in

Default here goes

ok laddies, as promised here they are, have to say it all looks worse on the pics than real.

And of course on a car that is 15years old ... a rusted battery tray, now where have I seen this before

Rear panel will of course be replaced

Here's my best friend(not for long)..... RUSTY ,this is the worst on the whole car

But there's light at the end o' the tunnel, look how nice the interior is :

Work's started, spare wheel well

Bye bye rs2 body kit, pain in the a** to get it of,....rusted screws

This is what we all want to do, even if it comes at the end of the project, try to see how it'll look on the car, well thanks to Shaun here I must say, just can't wait to fit

This is all for now, LOL, work awaits me tomorrow evening

Hi mate you aint shy on the work front there are you, and you work bloomin fast as well, if you only paid Ł300 quid for it you have a lot of scope for the rebuild before it comes an expensive car, keep up the good work and keep the pictures coming

To be perfectly fair i'm with you Fomoco, i'd much rather do 10 medioka repairs all around the car, than have to weld a complete or even part of a floor pan in, thats IMHO anyway.

I admit it was'nt as bad as yours but it was a few years ago, it was a 90 spec RST in grey metallic, which needed

Battery tray + bulkhead repair panel
Back panel like yours
Pair of wings front
Front lower valance
Full respray except for the roof
Repairs to the drivers seat
Full valet inside and out
and a few mechanicle bits sorting

there was quite a bit of work involved but i got it cheap and even after all the work it had done it stood me less than an average condition one, and when i sold it i actually made a profit and was inundated with calls as it was the best available at the time, so my advice is stick with it and onward and upward mate....

Default will do

But first up will be the front screenwippers plate that has to be changed too . I guess the roof will be dead last on the "menu", LOL, Only prob is that I can't weld so my friend has to do all the welding, and he's so busy, good for him , sad for me, anyhow he does promises me to get things going within a week or two. Anyhow just keep checking back!!
Good luck on yours too!!

Default sorry guys

yep took me a while, got sick ,again... so couldn't spend a lot of quality time with the car
Anyways, got my all new suspensionpack earlier this week, was a top notch bargain, got it from.....ebay. Looks good just hate the colour of the shocks, purple, YUCK!
OK, the project, got the rear arms redone, fitted with Deflex bushes, gas tank is ready for another 15 years, this was a hard one, but worth it ,see the pic

Al new front panel and radiatorcarrier has been welded in place, thx Freddy!!!

What did I do then, well here's part of the work, been further preparing the engine bay
Engine's coming apart next week, so if anyone has got a Kent cam CVh34/35 lying on the shelf, might wanna buy it has to be the complete kit, or a complete gasflowed head w/ cam will do too!!
will keep ya'll posted
