cheers mate, yeh the wheels sit in the arches ok,its still sitting a bit high at the moment so might have to get coilovers if it doesnt settle down enough,im going to have to fit some spacers to bring the wheels away from the front struts a bit if i go with the fiesta st wheels but still undecided on wheels at the moment

you could always just try uprated shocks & lower springs, its a cheaper option.i hope mine looks as good as yours does once the fronts done my wheels might be to wide as these are cossie ofset & i had them on a mk4 cab & had to trim the arches so could be to wide for the escort body.
whats the next part to be done on it?

ive already got some 2wd lowering springs on it at the moment front and rear but it might drop a bit more once i start putting everything in properly, the fiesta wheels only just clear the shock on the inside so will only need 5mm spacers at the max,
next thing to do is finish welding the tunnel in,then got a few gaps to plate over, then got to sort the pedal box and steering column before i turn it on its side to tidy everything up underneath

i was on the ukford stand and we had a bit of a crap spot mate,we were before the bridge just near where the cars came off from the 0-60 and right near where andy g crashed aswell, the car still got plenty of attention though which put me in a better mood than i was on the saturday night trying to get it loaded on my own lol

i will be getting on with a few more bits over the weekend, just got to make up a few plates for the front chassis sections to box it all in,going to get all the blanking plates made up then once theyre all ready i can then just spend a couple days welding everything up then i can start grinding all the welds down to tidy it all up,then ive got to figure the pedal box and steering column out,i think ive got to cut a few sections out of the tunnel aswell so that i can try and mount the seats as close to the original height as possible, once everything is all welded and tidied up i can then start on putting the inside back together and figuring the rear seat mounts out,ive also got a clifford concept 650 alarm to put into the loom along with getting rid of the efi wiring thats not needed and wiring in the cossie loom lol
