Great work, everytime I look at this it makes me wish I had of made mine more track orientated!!!
What's the reason for having the tank etc underneath when most people mount them inside?... just to keep them outside the car?...
Keep 'em coming fella!!!

i'd say for weight ditribution, the lower the centre of gravity
what Ronnie here said, and as a bonus i don't need to mess about with a firewall in the boot. as i've welded the cage to the top of the rear struts it would have been a complex job to make one.
have been measuring on a friends saff, and with my setup it will have the exact same distance from the ground up, as it has standard.
not sure if i'm gonna make some sort of lid in the boot floor and fill fuel through the boot, or if i'm gonna make some tubing and adapt it to use the standard filler cap. would make things a lot neather.
any suggestions?

thanks ronnie, btw, was your car in a Grudge match in performance ford a year or so back?
after some more thinking i have decided to route the fuelcell-filling it to the standard filler, figured out that i'm never gonna be happy with the filling in the boot, and i just know it's gonna bug the hell out of me. do it properly, do it once.
was in the workshop a small trip yesterday, welded on another supprt-brace in the boot to get it a little stronger.
also gonna re-do the welded screws on the 4 fuel-cell supports, not happy about them.
cheers!

Twins; like some of the old yanks'? lol.
thanks melspec1
was thinking that i might move the fuel-cell fillercap to the orginal fillercap-position, leaving the fuelcell-fillercap exposed, not sure, anyone think this would be cool?

ended up with this setup:

used the original filler-neck, twisted it a little bit, some 2" tubing and a short hose.
i'm a little worried about the angles here, but time will tell if the cell fills up properly

almost finished with mounting the fuel-setup yesterday, no pictures yet...
also had a bit of head-scratching last night, i thought i could use regular copper-pipes on the brakes, but what i really need is braided lines with an3-fittings.
sitting at work now and trying to figure out what it need now, and it seems to blow my budchet (?) with about 400$
NOT planned, lol!

thanks loader, will send you a PM if needed.
but i have been looking some more on the brake-system and i might be able to use copper pipes after all. gonna go brake-shopping now
the reason for wanting copper-pipes is just that it would mean that a lot of time could be saved. it would also be cheaper.
was hoping to have the front and rear suspension mounted on the car this weekend, will do a full day in the workshop tomorrow

been to 6 diffrent shops today, and i finally have all the fittings that i need!!
just need to re-tap the threads in the reduction-valve from 1/8 NPT to M10x1mm and all done.
will hopefully mount the suspension tomorrow, and maybe do all the brake lines....
cheers and good night!

-front and rear suspension mounted.
-inner arches covered in black undersealer.
-almost all brake-lines are finished.
did want to get all the brake-lines finished yesterday, but since myself and some mates decided to go off-roading in the local forest, i lost a few hours worth of time. really good fun to do something else that just stay in the workshop tho!

update!!
front and rear innersraches in undersealer

fuelsetup complete and battery connected

pumps and filters with new homemade wiring loom

shittylooking rear suspension

shittylooking front suspension. seems "wrong" to bolt these filty looking part on, but time is limited now. would rather be out driving than buftying all day long....

enginebay starting to come together

well pleased with how it looks, clean and simple

pedal-box outside, and fuel pressure reg

almost finished with the "interior"

pedal-box all adjusted inside. only need to bleed the brakes now.

hydraulic handbrake and proportion valve

really pleased with the new air-filter-setup. gonna make an extra bracket in front of the filter, was a little to woobly for my standards...

gonna do some engine-work today, change cambelt, oil-filter and do some mods to the breather-system (fit an-couplins and an12 hoses). also do a general look-over(?).
will also fit flywheel and clutch and hopefully start to figure out how i'm gonna fit the hydraulic release bearing onto the tremec-box. hopefully it will go okay, and the engine will be fitted tomorrow!!!
another thing that's bothering me is that my pectel-box is still at julian godfreys, but hopefully that will be sorted within next weekend.
cheeers!
