Cheers Richy, I think it's gona be a bugger to look after though lol

Gona try pop up the weekend and scribe in one of me spare dash boards and get it perfect before I copy it onto my flocked dash, scarey bit.

Also bolt in the seat side frames as Ive got all the bolts for um now.

Maybe also bolt on the front callipers see how the fit is under the wheels.

Nice that I can start to do jobs on it here and there now, collected me perspex windows from the loft last weeks and in storage one of the sliders has snapped a small bit off, need some one with a router table to get another sorted.

Can you tell I'm off work bored today? lol will post pics of the future slow progress lol

You using MTX75 then Jonny? I know Jano does the convertion kit for it.

You could get a new diff from quaiffe for around Ł550 mate and Bara Motorsport built my box up for a resonable price, cant wate to use it just to see how it puts the power down in the corners.

Cheers as well, I hope I can stick with it even if it takes a while

Few people have mentioned that, you think it will sweat? the lock up is freezing thats why I thought it would be OK also when at the ford historic museum this year I saw that this is how they dust cover all there cars.

I'll go up the weekend and get some cotton? sheets on it instead.

Chears Cheach mate, don't when I'll bother working on this again though tbh as I had the lock up burgalled couple of months ago, did another thread on it here some where.

Landlord has made promises to knock down our lock up in the spring and errect a new steel unit etc, not to sure how secure his gesture is and if it'll happen but we'll see.

Car is moved now untill I know what's going on etc.

Are you going to run the original back axle or the MAXI style back axle?

That is indeed the one i was revering 2.
We have one here in Holland who is running that back axle on a street car.
He needed to modify his complete rear body to get some wheels to fit
Now he is using cossie rear arches on his car whit escos wheels.
Fills nicely but it needs to get a bit lower as it is a grasshopper now.

regards Roy

Yer Andy aka Freakpower told me about him selling a couple.

On a road car you'll need to maybe remove rear spare wheel well but defo modify chasis to run a ARB and drop links to the beam also move the fuel tank.

If he chose to run escos ofset rims that'll be why he has had to change/modify rear quaters.

You runing/building a Maxi bud?

Nope, don't have the cash to do so.
Just own a Escort F1 edition and at the moment scoring parts to build a RS2300
Found me a rather mint mk5 shell from 1990 and going to build it like a RS2300.

cheers Roy

Thanks for the offer but if i had that much cash i would visit you and get one in person
First i need all the parts to get it road worthy.
Then score the 2.3 galaxy engine and all the other parts i need and then slowly piece by piece built it to what i want and then in the car to have fun with it
Weeeeeeeeeee

regards Roy

Up lock up today with Sam and kane to move all stuff due to landlord knocking most of it down to build new units.

he did say they were going to be steel fab lock up's but he changes his mind like the wind and today started talking about something else, god knows but we'll see.
