Managed to spent a couple of hours on the car this morning as to us having three weeks of non stop rain
pulled car out of garage and into the sun lol

started aplying a coat of stone chip today on the floor of the car, some spray on stuff Phil gave me to put on, it isnt as easy has Phil makes it look lol but looks great once on and once painted itll make the floor more durable







try and get more done asap

can you believe in the last two weeks I havent been at work and today I get to spend an hour in the garage!

started stripping the gass flowed head as it has two bent valve but need to get another valve spring compressor as the one I borrowed from me mates garage isnt big enough for the RS head walls

valves wernt massivly bent and the seats have been untouched by them bending

where the magic happens lol budget builders are ace aint they

my garage may look like a scrap heep to some but to an RS owner its an aladins cave lol

Been grafting on the car again today well Phil has :laugh:


I did this bit



finished off stone chipping the inside of the car

whilst Phil was grafting on body work



will put progress pics up tomorrow of the kit and Phil rekons the O/S of the car should be finished

all rapped up and under a gazebo pmsl ready for starting again tomorrow

we're removing those brackets from the mirrors and were going to bond them to the doors

Cheers mate, the wheels no they wont be used on track just RD/Show going rims, I'm after a nice set of 17's for track RL7's or Mo's whichever pop up when I have more cash lol

got these the other day, theyre in black leather so duno if theyll be to hot or not?



also orderd all engine bits n ARP's so I can complete engine build, head being rebuilt soon to all new springs, stem seals reground valves, followers, only thing I havent got as yet is head gasket as Im not to sure if I want to up the spec of it as standerd is triple layer and pritty good gasket.

tried the car on 17" OZ Super T's today that I picked up and OMG they looked way to small for the car but comparing weight to the 18's the eighteens wont be to heavy to use I dont think as they weigh the same.
