14 Volt 4.0 ms
16 Volt 3.0 ms i presume yours will be the same aswel so may of saved you a job
look`s good, but i will check to make sure ... just need to find five minutes

as for the clutch ...

a preview...

unfortunately this has proven to be very expensive, as i have had to make major changes to the flywheel, gear box and operating mechanism and the clutch alone retails at £1000.00

but for the results, i feel it`s worth it and should be a fit and forget item.

i now have all the bits back and have got as far as fitting the crank with the ARP main stud kit and modding the block to accept the new knock sensor where it should be !!!

pics soon ..
thanks alot appreciate it. clutch looks good. expensive but worth every penny if it works out! good work! you should offer it as a conversion if everythin goes to plan

its not the weight, its the capabilities and driveability..

i have killed 3 AP 6 paddles now and i am sick of throwing money at clutches.. ( 3 x £350.... £1050... ) i should of done it ages ago !!

i know quite a few use the AP / Alcon 6, but even AP Racing only rate them up to 310lfb...

this is rated to 800 BHP and its related torque,... but with out the horrid " judder, snatch you get with most " performance " clutches...

i have keep`ed all the tech specs for reference, but i would assume most would see it as a " pointless luxury " .. but i could get them made if there was enough interest...

was a fair comment really...

just trying to find a better way .. it may look expensive on the front of it, but it will out weigh the cost if it lives up to its name.. ( i am sure it will !! )

as for the knock control, i will be using the autronics knock functions..

OK ....... i finished building the engine today, after all my testing and checks, its all how i was expecting ...

it has taken some time changing the turbo core angles to suit the new exhaust manifold and have had to make some changes to run this and all the other items i will be using..

But there's still plenty to do ..

as soon as i have the manifold polished, i will be connecting and changing all the wiring to my new spec..

The bad news is ... i have decided NOT to use the Anti Lag on this engine

Now you're talking - love the clutch .

What mods did you have to do to fit it, and how does the HKS one differ from the normal AP twin plate?

Hi mike, it is completely different from the AP clutches , i have had to start from scratch with the flywheel as it is mounted on studs with locating blocks rather than bolts, & the PCD is miles off from the ford PCD. the complete operating side is different and i have had to make new clutch arms and mod the gear box as well..

a lot of work i know, but i feel it will be worth while...
