as for power expectancy.... well the T38 is supposed to max out at about 460-470 BHP, so i will be pushing it as far as it will go. with as much torque over the widest band as i can achieve... for now, until i go external waste gate and the bigger turbo i have in mind.... witch should see it just short of 600 IF i decided to go that far ( probably not though )

OK a few pics from autosport of the engine,
i have been so busy i don`t know if i am coming or going
there was a huge interest in the engine with a crowed 10 deep all week
including the director of Cosworth racing , and a few of are swedish / German counter parts
anyway, the engine came back on last Monday, and although i have not done anything with it yet the parts i have been waiting for have arrived from japan..
so i am hoping to have the engine back in the car some time this week and home with in 2 weeks

i have been busy creating the clutch operating system today...
was not a simple fix ....
first off i had to make my own nose cone for the gearbox to accept the new release bearing i want to run ..
then i had to offer up the box to the new clutch to get some technical data to make it all work..
with all the data i needed i had to check my math to make sure it all went in the bell housing and would work
its a tight fit to say the least !!!
now all i have to do is fix it all in place before it can go back in the car and make the new pedal box

All looks really nice, tho TBH im not sure how effective a lot of it is apart from being different to be different.
Do you think the HKS will magically drive much better than other similar clutches without the jap badge and price tag?
In my experience of them, no, no they wont.

You have probably taken this into consideration already but I will mention it just in case as you have said how tight it all is.... Have you thought that you will need extra room for the clutch arm as the clutch wears??
Also, just curious .. How thick are the HKS plates?
Cheers,
Martin.

sorry, i have been very busy at work, ( we are currently doing the power verification for the Lotus cup and GT cup race series, it feels like i am living in the dyno at the mo .. )
So unfortunately i have not had a chance to work on it for the last 4 weeks, not sure when i will get back to it yet ..
