i bought this from london a good few months back. ive only just had a chance to get working on it so heres a big update. Here she is when i first bough her:

it came to me with damage to the rear quarter wing, rear end and just odd scratches and dints all over. Its actually a mint car starts first time low mileage, fdsh etc. Also came with private plate L** XKB. Bodywise theirs no rust and no major pulling needed. Just a slight pull at the back will straighten it all out to perfection. These are the bits ive sourced: rear bumper, rear lights, pass headlight, all the boot trim as it was completely bare, electric aerial, rear seats as these were missing, cd changer speakers etc and then theirs all the small bits bumper brackets etc. heres a pic of the inside of the boot when i bought her:

i then started stripping the car down. Took bumpers off, stripped out the interior to check for any damage and sort out wiring. The wiring was a complete mess due to the insurance company completely tearing it apart. ive also given it a pull from the back and the dint on the rear quarter has popped out nicely

Now the fun part. I knoked out the rear quarter. Sorted out the dints and scatches.

this is my proudest moment i sorted out the rear panel and welded it back on. i shaped it all up to perfection. What do you think

At this point i decided to paint the whole car just to make it 100% even the roof, inside the boot etc! Also bought a set of xkr wheels. Had them sand blasted down and now ready in primer:


Ive also bought some more bits. new exhaust as this ones abit bent. cam belt tensioners, water pump as these are common faults on these. Also service parts. Plus a brand spanking new leather interior Also bought 2.5 litres of paint ice blue metallic

Then the whole drivers side started reacting on me! So sorted that and painted again!

Thats all for the update. Im going to go start work on her again. Another layer of laquer, paint wheels mirrors trim etc. Im started the elctrics tomorrow. Booked in for MOT on wednesday let me know ehat you think so far

great cars i love them (i would my old mas has a very special xkr)

would be intrested to know where you got a brand new interior from since dads dash woods have started to fade a little bit would like to get them done in carbon but he wont pay out lol.

New update. Interior being put in:

Ive put a new harmon kardon system in. Sorted all the wring out inside so everything now fully works.

Ive painted the mouldings/mirror casings. Also repainted all the window seals in the same colour aswell as the mirrors.

Ive sorted all the wiring in the boot. If you look at the pics it was a complete mess. Changer amp etc all in.

Didnt fail on anything!!!!!!!! Im buffing the car up today and putting on all the trim and the finishing bits. Will get the last lot of pics up soon
